Liked: The atmosphere was quiet nice,and the rooms had 24 hours supervision. It's not far from the city centre. Breakfasts were good with milk, bread, butter and jam.

Disliked: You can hear everything from inside your room, so if you want to wake up a bit later in the morning you are not likely to get it. The bathroom outside the main house is not a good idea, and you have to share one shower and toilet with at least 6-7 people. Rooms are tiny, and beds are not the best....

Liked: Hostel Lublin was really clean and pretty modern for a hostel. It only has a small number of rooms and because of that it had almost a B&B sort of feel, rather than a just normal hostel. It's definitely a lot cleaner and nicer than most hostels. Breakfast, albeit basic, was included in the price and so was free WIFI - both of which I found beneficial. The hostel was really close to the bus stations, old town and castle. You could walk to all of these in 5-10 minutes, which made it so easy to get around. However, in saying that, the area isn't the safest (wouldn't walk alone there at night). The staff were also really friendly and spoke english well.

Disliked: There also wasn't the option of a room with a private bathroom and the shared bathroom only had one toilet and one shower to cater for all the rooms. The shower was also broken when I was there which was annoying. But again, those negatives were counteracted by the fact that the bathroom was very modern and the staff kept it impeccably clean. There is also no lift. I found it a struggle carrying my 25kg suitcase up all the stairs!

Liked: Once you find that the 160 trolleybus connects the hostel with the railway station, it is very easy.

Disliked: No lockers

Liked: Good value for money. Cheap hostel and breakfast was good.

Disliked: We came after midnight in hostel and almost surprise! I booked room 4 beds in 5 dorm room but girl that worked there wanted to put us in 8 dorm room with other 4 people because she was sleeping in our room! At the end because I insisted on room that we booked she moved her things to living room and let us inside.

Liked: even though there were other people staying at the hostel, it was overall quiet and felt like just the people in your room were there (if I remember correctly, there were 6 rooms in total)

Disliked: I really disliked the street it's located on... I didn't feel comfortable walking back, especially at night, because of all the young men hanging outside their apartment steps drinking & smoking.

Liked: Friendly staff, very clean, fast wifi.

Disliked: Kitchen isn't really a kitchen - just a sink, fridge and microwave. Only 1 toilet and 1 shower created a few queues. The neighbourhood was not the best, but very close to coach station and old town.

Liked: The delicate and smiling attention of Anneta the receptionist.

Disliked: It is very unfortunate that the only hostel in this city is so eccentric in a neighborhood so unattractive, if not frightening. The hostel has no kitchen, only a kind of sink in the bathroom (which is pretty disgusting). Only one toilet bowl and a single shower for everyone,resulting in the formation of a queue for the needy in the morning.The cleanliness is quite poor. The owner's only obsession: to ask you to pay your night in advance. Because it has neither the equipment nor the athmosphere, in short we can say this place is more a dormitory than a real hostel. Lublin deserves better.

Liked: Friendly staff. Very small and homey feel.

Disliked: The location,whilst close to the centre is not ideal especially when walking back at night we did not feel that safe. But that is a reflection of the city not the hostel.

Liked: It felt safe, almost as in someones home. It was a small but nice hostel.

Disliked: It was a little further from the city centre than we had imagined, and it looked pretty rundown in that quarter of town. Then again, it was Lublin...

Liked: Friendly and helpful owner. Excellent breakfast with fresh bread rolls. Useful information. Nice dorms with ready made beds.

Disliked: The internet access and connection could be better.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and very helpful. It was clean. Close to old town.

Disliked: BUT - the area the hostel is in is not that nice. There are no lockers and no locks on dorm doors. The TV is B&W and has only 4 channels. The owner does not acknowledge the presence of his guests and doesn't appear interested in providing better security or TV quality - maybe he will when there is more hostel choice in Lublin.

Liked: Close to the city centre, clean, cheap

Disliked: It was after 11 p.m. and my room was next to the living room and people were still making noise. I asked them to be quiet as it was late in the evening and the owner told me in that hostel there is no silence time (?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?), I was shocked. I've never heard such a non-sense in my whole life. Dear Mr. "I like noise and I don't respect my guests", EVERY location that has beds in it where people do rest has by default a rest period. I think you should rather turn your hostel into a club. Another problem was, they wanted to charge us a whole day for an additional half day of stay - this is unprofessional and unacceptable.

Liked: The room was clean, there were sofa's to sit in (in the livingroom)

Disliked: With the 5 of us, we were all alone in the hostel. In the morning, we saw 1 other and a couple. There was only one shower and one toilet, too little for that amount of beds. The hostess was constantly on the computer or sleeping, so we had to wait untll she left before we could use the computer. Her English was not good, maybe that's why she said hardly anything. The breakfast was realy sober, good thing we brought our own stuff.
