Liked: The receptionist was fantastic when we arrived and so very helpful. He remained a constant source of help throughout the weekend and he was super friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The common areas are all very homely and clean.

Disliked: Having to leave! haha

Liked: The staff were AMAZING on arrival! Showed you around the hostel and went through the map of the city writing loads of extra information on it! Very relax and easy going place to stay.

Disliked: Location is great but when you first arrive you get a little confused on where it is. There is a sign on the bottom floor but hostels on the thrid and you have to go through this black gate with no knowledge where the place is.

Liked: This has got to be one of the friendliest hostels I have ever stayed in. I love the concept of a random communal dish of hot Polish food each night for anyone who wants to dig in, and the darts machine with the promise of a bottle of vodka for the winners! All round, a really fun stay.

Disliked: The club on the floor below! The music was shaking the walls until 5am (apparently it had just opened up that night). A word of warning for those aiming for a slightly more peaceful stay - this hostel is super friendly but most people here are party people and the drunken clubbers outside definitely are, so you may be better off staying a few blocks further out.

Liked: best location. the staff are exceptional, they go out of there way to help you with everything. i would highly recommend staying here.

Disliked: its 4 stories up, with no lift.

Liked: If I stayed at Mama's, it would definitely be the location. It's right beside Cafe Jama Michalika

Disliked: The private apartment's shower flooded and their was no wi-fi.

Liked: There were events on every day and I especially enjoyed the Polish soup and the film and popcorn night. Free access to the Internet and the kitchen and loung were very cosy. Was always able to get into the shower with no wait.

Disliked: Overnight the noise level was incredible the first two nights, better on the third night. Some of the night staff just seemed to ignore this. Don't mind what time people come in, but turning the radio up full blast in the kitchen at half three was no fun.

Liked: Awesome hostel. has it all: fun, great staff, nice common areas, amazing location, even had little nightly things like wine tasting, deserts and things. Helps that Krakow is totally awesome too, just go.

Disliked: The cheap dorm gets nasty brewery breath in the mornings, if you're not a drinker maybe stay in the smaller dorms.

Liked: This is probably the best hostel I have been so far, had so much fun there and the staff and the facilities were really great.

Liked: Awesome staff, location and facilities

Disliked: Although they have wine night, vodka tasting etc which is really cool, there aren't many solo travellers staying there. Maybe it was just while I was there, but it seemed to be groups that kept to themselves - didn't really have much to do with what the hostel organised, so it wasn't great to meet people

Disliked: the shower and toilets combined and there is only 4...so people using the shower for half hour...no toilets to use..espically in the morning

Liked: Atmosphere and character were exceptional. Staff were fantastic and the location was spot on. I distinctly remember coming back to the hostel from a days traveling to be welcomed back with fresh cakes cooked by Kaija (one of the staff on duty), who asked us to tuck in. Amazing. Dorm wise I didn't have a problem sleeping and there are generously sized lockers for storing bags and valuables, though a pad lock needs to be provided.

Disliked: Only negative point were one or two of the showers where the shower door wouldn't close.

Liked: This hostel was so great for meeting people, and exploring Krakow and the surrounding area! I would recommend this hostel for anyone who is looking to meet some great people.
