The staff is really friendly and helpful. Location is just perfect. It's on the second floor and on the ground there's a cafe and internet spot and on the first floor a trendy club. Comfortable beds and neat atmosphere. Overall, one of the best hostels I've stayed. Highly recommended!

EVERYTHING about this hostel was great and it really made Krakow the highlight of my European Holiday. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the facilities were perfect for either a weary, or energetic traveller!

THis hostel is clean and all the staff are very friendly and helpful.
There are good policies for having a quiet time 11pm to 7am.
It has has a seperate games room and quiet area so it is easy to write or read.
Overall, it's great. The one thing that I would change is the night club two floors below. Put it somewhere on a remote island in the Baltic. ('Sorry clubbers but lifes full of dissapointments') :)

This hostel had an institutional feel about it. It was trying to be funky and modern and it looked good inside but had a cold atmosphere. They only have one computer available for internet and it is sooooooo slow that it's just not worth your time. The kitchen isn't even really a kitchen, no stove! Overall this hostel is okay but it's really just a bed.

Clean dorms, nice bathrooms and friendly, helpful staff. Great location too...so close to the square! However, the atmosphere was pretty average (partly due to a pretty strange hostel layout) and I'm pretty sure there are hostels with a much cooler vibe than this one...might pay to hunt one out with a bar, or at least a big nice common area/better kitchen. There was no oven available - just a 2-hob benchtop thing, which made cooking kinda tricky. We also got a bit screwed over when we extended our stay and were asked to pay more basically because of a staff member's mistake, which didn't seem fair. It wasn't a bad hostel, just kinda average, and I definitely think you could get more bang for your buck elsewhere.

Even in the off season it was full of GREAT people. The staff was SO helpful and I was up until 3:30 in the morning chatting with the front desk staff one night, even though I had to wake up at 10 that morning!

This place has the be the best in town for balance of location, price, and cleanliness.
It has a better location than most more expensive hotels, its always clean and the people are really friendly.
Ive been there twice now, and am, planning my next trip

The staff at Mama's is the best! Finally there's a hostel staff that actually engages the guests! They sat down to talk to us, challenged us to games of foosball, took us out to bars and clubs, instigated an impromptu song night, and generally took an interest in all of us and made sure we had fun. Plus they cooked an amazing Christmas dinner for everyone! There's plenty of room, but it's still small enough to feel intimate. It was clean. The location couldn't be better, and there is actually a visible sign on the street so you can find it easily. The beds are sturdy and they don't shake orsqueak, so I could sleep through my dormmates coming home late at night. There are theme days with free hot wine, cake, Polish breakfast, etc. I can't say enough good things. Mama's is great!

The dryer doesn't work, so keep that in mind if doing washing. It was all good elsewise, friendly atmosphere, huge kitchen area, movies to watch if you want...
