Liked: The location is really convenient, being a corner away from the main square. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Disliked: i slept in room 6, which was just outside the common area. It gets noisy when people are talking. officially, there's a guideline that quiet time is observed when it is 23:00 but this is not always observed. There is a bar 2 stories below the hostel and the music, particularly the bass made it difficult to have a good night's rest. Try to get drunk b4 you sleep should u book this room.

Liked: The staff are friendly, they serve great breakfast, and there is a good atmosphere. Mama's hostel is in a great location as well so it is easy to get around Krakow and see the sights. I really liked it here :)

Disliked: Everything was really good - I only wish there were more toilets without showers as sometimes you might need to wait to use the toilet and people are showering... but otherwise very very good!

Liked: They make every possible effort to make your stay great. Was sitting there thinking I need to go out now and buy food, then the staff made a massive pot of traditional Polish soup for everyone. I'm writing this on their free internet. There's a night club and pub in the same building... Handy! And you roll out of bed pretty much into Krokow's main square which is right where you need to be. The view from the balcony is world class. Don't even bother with anywhere unless unless this gaff''s booked out.

Liked: Great location, and fine breakfast of cornflakes, bread, cheese, and meat.Staff constantly running around trying to keep things clean.

Disliked: The bar two floors down kept some noise, but it wasn't so bad.

Liked: The staff are really friendly, fun and helpful, the hostel is right in the main market, great atmosphere, great place to meet new people, entertainment for the guests every night like wine or vodka tasting.

Disliked: Can't think of one single thing.

Liked: Mama’s is NOT the place for you IF: you like to keep away from interesting and sociable travellers from a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities; you enjoy trekking in to the city centre from more than half a minute out; you prefer surly, unhelpful staff who don’t care whether you have a good time let alone treat you as a friend and write up the best things to do each day; you favour shabby, bland or tacky decor; you like dirty or uncomfortable beds; you’d rather pay for the Internet and laundry; you’d prefer not to have free vodka, wine, soup, dumplings and cake; you wouldn’t like to sit on a wooden balcony overlooking a picturesque courtyard; you’d be inconvenienced by a spacious locker in your room; you dislike the idea of paying significantly less than ten euros a night; you’d rather not feel included by everyone present in whatever they are doing in order to make the most of the charming and vibrant city of Cracow. If any of these things apply to you, you’d best go and stay at some mediocre hostel instead.

Disliked: There's nothing to dislike about Mama's unless you are deranged (and probably even if you are).

Liked: Staff were extremely nice and very helpful, they put on various polish events and helped out when it came to deciding where to go clubbing which was good. Atmosphere in general was very good and was extremely easy to meet people there.

Disliked: I thought that the bed I was given was quite uncomfortable - other travellers didn't seem to think theirs was too bad so it might just have been mine.

Liked: Good area, good balconny, good safety, good welcome.

Disliked: To many people watching TV. TV destroy atmosphere all the time. It is a big mistake for a hostel. No water in bathroom(it's can disturb).

Liked: Stayed here for 2 nights with 2 of my mates and we would happily have stayed longer. We ended up comparing the rest of our accomodation on our trip to this place and none were anywhere near as good for the overrall experience.

Liked: Location and atmosphere are great. Good place to meet people

Disliked: Everything is on one floor and close together. There are times, sometimes 4.30am, when the noise is at maximum - yelling, screaming, running, slamming doors - Mama doesn't seem to care.

Liked: I like to start by saying thanks to all mama's staffs for their ability to make you feel at home even when you are on your own just like me. great people great staffs cant take that away from them, and mr Thomas was an awesome staff/host whatever you choose to call it. I definitely recommend this place for any traveller coming to krakow . located just about in the center of the main market square. awesome place!!!

Disliked: just that they didn't have some single rooms.
