Liked: fantastic location. great bunch of people and a lot of fun. there's always something happening. free breakfast was good too. ;) NYE in krakow, unforgettable!!

Liked: Good location from main square, close to bars and places to eat. Staff really helpfull and friendly. Met some really great people in the hostel and was able to have drinks and games in the main common room.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike. Exactly what it says on the tin.

Liked: I really love this hostel. The staff were really good, friendliness and helppfulness. The room and the bathrooms are always clean. I recomend this hostel for every people travelling in krakow. The location is excellent. I love the board in the kitchen!! =) where everyone can write everything. I loved the themes of each day, traditional sweets proof vodka and the environment is the best I've ever been. If you return to Krakow, I will stay in this hostel. =)

Liked: It had a good location and a full kitchen. Also had free internet on 4 computers.

Disliked: Way too many staff members made it very disorganized. It seemed many staff members were there just to drink and facilitate partying. They do not stick to their scheduled event nights. They claim to enforce quiet hours from 11pm to 6am but this is certainly not the case. Our worst hostel experience of our 4 month trip.

Liked: The staff at Mama's are so incredibly helpful, if you're a sociable person then you'll leave feeling like you've made friends. They partied with us, they gave me inside tips of the best places to eat, and even got me a last-minute appointment for a tattoo :)The rooms are safe and clean, the location is great and there is free breakfast every day. The staff also hold weekly vodka tasting (more like excessive drinking), desserts, wine tasting, movie nights etc.When I go back to Krakow I'll be staying with newly-made friends, but otherwise I'd stay at Mama's and I'll be poking my head in to say hi :)

Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Liked: This hostel is well worth the price. A great bargain!!! Right down the street from the main square in Krakow. Lots of bars and nightclubs within a 2-3 minute walk. The staff was great and the free breakfast was an added plus.

Disliked: Sometimes you had to wait to use the bathrooms. Not that big of a deal, but some people could be upset by this.

Liked: It ticks the box for all the normal things you want in a hostel (internet, location, staff etc.), but then has nice random extras like free cake :)

Liked: Free wi-fi. Excellent breakfast. Very pleasant staff.

Disliked: The only drawback was the position of the bedroom (number 6) opening onto a common room.

Liked: Liked: Kitchen, free internet and wifi, location, free treats on different nights.

Disliked: Disliked: Our 6 bed dorm opening into the kitchen. No space, really really really loud. They have signs that people are meant to go to the other common room after 10 or 11 pm but they never did and this one staff member was there every single night makeing way more noise than anyone else and encouraging it, which would be fine if there was no bedroom right there. Every single night we had to ask the reception staff to get everyone to go to the other common room (like their own signs say they're meant to) which was really uncomfortable and made us feel like party killers. There's also a club downstairs and the bass travels through the bed all night. Bring headphones, don't expect to sleep.

Liked: the location was superb, right off the main square. the staff were very helpful and lots of leaflets and advice on trips and things to do.

Disliked: the noise from the kitchen at night could have been better dealt with. they said quiet time was between 11pm and 6am but this wasnt the case with a group of particularly rowdy spanish travellers. i think the staff should've worked more to keep them quiet.

Liked: the location was very good. somewhat difficult to find at first due to a small sign and quirky location off the road. lockers were secure and free use of computers was very nice. very helpful staff.

Disliked: very noisy on friday night even though they advertise quiet hours after 11.

Liked: Location. It was super close to the Market square. The staff were very helpful and friendly and provided something polish every night for guests. Breakfest was very good and the bathrooms were always very clean.

Disliked: I would have liked there to be toliets that were seperate from the showers. 4 showers/toliets/basins for the entire hostel was not enough and often had to wait even to brush your teeth. Otherwise the hostel was very good

Liked: This is a really awesome hostel, and no one visiting Cracow should think about staying anywhere else. It has nice dorms, a great sitting room and separate kitchen/common room, wonderfully helpful staff and an amazing location. The atmosphere is also excellent, with a mix of travellers from all over.

Disliked: There is nothing to dislike about this hostel. I also stayed there last year, and since then they have added a separate toilet, as the only minor disadvantage previously was all the bathrooms sometimes being in use in the mornings.
