Liked: Excellent location, friendly and knowledgeable staff. "Mama" did something extra for you each night, from baking cakes to vodka tastings.

Disliked: The common room and balcony can become very loud, especially if your room is adjacent to them.

Liked: Mama's Hostel is extremely conveniently located. The rooms are clean & the staff are wonderful. One of them happens to be an awesome baker too! Her marble cakes are delectable. The toilets are the cleanest & BEST i've ever seen in all of Europe.

Disliked: Nothing as of yet. Please keep up the good work!

Liked: People and staff were amazing! Great activities and wonderful local flavor. You could not find a better location, just 100m from either the main square or the 24hr liquor store!

Disliked: Needed to lock door downstairs and be better about watching people who enter the hostel.

Liked: The staff were quite friendly.

Disliked: Toilets could have been cleaner. The 6-bed dorm only had 2 sockets that were poorly located. Rooms were a bit small. There were many stairs to climb to reach the hostel.

Liked: Amazing atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff. Mama's hostel is appropriate place to meet people from whole word.

Disliked: Despite being young, we found many clubs in the same building where hostel is located as a minus. But it was only one drawback.

Liked: Largest lockers I have come across thus far. The location is perfect and the staff are very friendly. Nice common areas make it easy to meet others. Loved the hostel and the city, a must see city on an European tour and the perfect place to stay while in Krakow. A very easy walk from the train station.

Disliked: Im an idiot and cant read a map so i got lost finding it, but it is really easy to find from the train station for everyone else.

Liked: The staff is really nice and really helps you a lot, the location is very close to the main square of the city.

Disliked: The available PCs weren't that good, there wasn't much left on the breakfast in the end of it.

Liked: Friendly staff. Fun place to meet people. Regular Party (Vodka testing Party etc.) by the hostel was really great.

Disliked: Bath rooms not so clean. A bit congested, too many beds in the room.

Liked: Location is near the market square. Nice atmoshere. Not to many guests.

Disliked: They don't have regulations for the night. It has happened to me that there was a party untill 4 pm with a lot of noise annoyance, while I was sleeping.

Liked: The hostel is located right off of the main square, so it makes it a very conveniently located hostel; 20 steps and you walk into Main Market Square. If you are young and looking for a cheap stay (and nothing more), I would recommend this hostel. If you actually want some sleep, go elsewhere!

Disliked: First of all, there are only 4 showers for the entire hostel. We had to wait in line several times to shower in the morning. There are no outlet plugs in the rooms, so if you want to charge you camera/ipod you have to stick it in the hall way, and if you want to blow dry your hair you have to occupy one of the four bathroom stalls. The hostel is also located on top of a nightclub; it was extremely loud every night (especially during karaoke night). However, if you bring earplugs it should be okay. The noise also came from the main commons room, which is right outside of all of the dorms. A large group was sitting there until midnight one night and it sounded like the party was in our hostel room. Also, even though the hostel is "non smoking", it smelled like smoke. There is a balcony for the smokers but it is just on the other side of the commons room, so when people smoke it just comes in through the windows. When people are out there, the hostel may as well be a smoking facility.
