Liked: The staff and atmostphere and the fact that you couldn't sleep if you wanted to. Great party till 5am location.

Liked: i had a wicked stay here, the staff are professional, informative and really friendly, easily approachable and they enjoy a good laugh. everthing was spotless. the polish mama does a grand job. james is a legend and deserves a payrise! be all and end all... two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Liked: What can I say, a brilliant hostel. The facilities were amazing and the staff were really friendly and helpfull. The live in receptionist, James, was the best and organised plenty of events to entertain everybody and was always happy to answer any questions we had. All in all it was a clean and pleseant stay that was great value for money and I would happily recommend to fellow travellers.

Liked: All these goodies for this price and I still got all I needed for a nice and comfy break. I think this is better than the other one so call no. 1 in Krakow, which is almost twice as expensive.

Liked: We don't have any genuine complaints about this place - it was well priced, clean and located close to everything, but it was somehow a little 'cold'. Not sure if things got lost in translation, but staff did not seem to be as friendly here as in most other places we stayed, although they were helpful. A good breakfast. Lots of interesting activities for young people....boring older people like us perhaps didn't fit in so well here.

Liked: We had an amazing stay at Mamas Hostel. From the moment we arrived the receptionist was extremely helpful showed us around the hostel and to our room. The beds were good and the rooms were very clean. The first night it was a bit cold so they provided us with a space heater. The bathrooms were clean, Breakfast was good and the common area with internet was perfect for meeting people. We would especially like to mention that James (Jasper/Casper the friendly bloke) and Thomas (Enrique lol) did an amazing job at making us feel at home and welcome. James always had something going on from the Pizza challenge to vodka tasting and nights out at the bar. The girls at the reception made delicious mulled wine that helped curb the cold weather. I would recommend this hostel to anyone no matter what you are interested in partying, meeting people or just a quiet night in with a movie. The facilities are exceptional, the staff amazing, and extremely hospitable. We left the hostel with clean laundry, new friends and tons of memories. We will DEFINATLY return to Krakow at stay at Mamas again.

Liked: The histel is very well located! 5 Mins for the train station and a stones throw from the main square. The breakfast was a 'help yourself' from a range of usual bread etc. Rooms all had thier own lockers which was a refundable 20 PL & towels could be used for a small fee.No problems, as described & expected, good value for money!

Liked: Cheap, valuable and felt like you were in a hotel instead of a hostel. The best hostel I've stayed at so far and I've been to over 10 countries in the past 3 months.

Liked: I had an awesome time at this hostel. I made some great friends that I'll hopefully see again and Kasia and Marta (receptionists) are very helpful and friendly. Jasper is cool bloke and I'm bummed I never got to do the Pizza Challenge. Will definitely recommend.
