Liked: It was warm inspite of the extreme cold outside (-22 deg C ). Spotlessly clean and as a couple of elderly travellers we were made very welcome by the helpful and friendly staff. A problem with hot water was fixed immediately

Liked: It's a beautiful Deco style building. They have big rooms, common space and kitchen. They offer many computers, movies and games. The breakfast which is included in the price is very good. It's not so far from the main square, walking distance.

Disliked: no lockers. When is too crowded is very noisy.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very stylish and nicely decorated, as the whole hostel was. Good facilities available, very close to the city centre and easily accessible from the airport. The best hostel I've ever stayed in and can't recommend it enough!

Liked: A great place to stay with friendly staff. Its chic, and has plenty of facilities to aid the traveller whether they are backpacking or in for a long weekend like we were. The location is somewhat further out than other hostels which made for some long cold walks back after a night on the town, and lifts would have helped (we were staying on the top floor and 5 floors after a night out ior with luggage snt great). but other than this I cannot recommend it more.

Disliked: No lifts, and alittle further out from the city centre than others.

Liked: Themed hostel with a bit of character. Basic breakfast included (cereal, filled roll and tea/coffee). Outside of old town so cheap restaurants nearby. The airport and Aushwitz buses stop a few blocks away (at different stops though). Staff were polite and helpful.

Disliked: Kitchen area is too small for breakfast and gets very busy. Beside main road so if you open a window at night it can be very noisy outside. Our room was also very dark at night, even when all the lights were on but I suppose that adds to the 1920s atmopshere! 20 min walk to the old town.

Liked: great facilities and standards for a hostel, themed rooms were a nice touch. Woiuld definetley stay here again!

Liked: Great place, like a nice hotel. Big rooms, good facilities, they even give you one* sandwich to take for lunch. * enforced with an honesty policy.

Disliked: It's a bit further out than some other hostels but readily accessible with public transport.

Liked: Wow, great hostel. Love the decor, and the facilities were great! The kitchen saved us loads of money, the lounge was really nice to hang out in (also have a nap waiting for check-in!) and the people were really nice too. Location wasn't perfect, but if you're a walker like we were, you'd be happy to do the 20m walk to the old town rather than take the tram.

Disliked: Not really anything.

Liked: A lot of other comments have said the same but the standard inside is like a hotel, sparkling clean and newly redecorated. Deco theme works really well and the staff were very freindly and helpful, and know the local area well. Normally on a weekend (weather permitting) they host a BBQ on the garden terrace which was delicious, especially when served with copious amounts of free vodka! We wouldn't stay anywhere else in krakow

Disliked: Not a massive fault really but might be a little to far from the centre for some as is about a 15 minute walk. Also while we were there it was a bit quiet as seemingly not many guests there which let the atmosphere down a little but might not be like that all the time.

Liked: It was very clean and quiet.

Disliked: Maybe a little TOO quiet. The building does not really facilitate socializing with other guests. The common room is taken up by a gigantic television, which in my opinion, was alienating. Horribly inconvenient location, diagonally opposite from everything, no easy way to get to Kazimierz and the nightlife there.

Liked: The best hostel I've stayed in! The decoration and theme of the hostel make it feel more like a hotel. The staff were so helpful, rooms are really clean and there's plenty of space even in the 8 bed dorms. Breakfast is nice as well! Such good value

Liked: Staff were fantastic, one even ran down the street after us to give us a spare sandwich. Beds very comfortable and clean, kitchen is good, lounge area comfortable and breakfast is tasty. Highly recommended.

Disliked: 20 min walk to town but for what you get at hostel deco, it is worth it.

Liked: The solidity of furnishings and the continuity of theme. Spacious private room and very quiet, facing the garden. Room had very charming decor although not completely in the art deco theme. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and new bathroom. Good connection from airport.

Disliked: A little bit far from town. The ground floor communal bathrooms did not look great. We were very glad we weren't using them. Breakfast can get a bit crowded if you choose the wrong time. The corner where tea and the sink meet is not fantastically designed.

Liked: So nice staff!! The host arranged a classy BBQ with vodka tasting. Afterwards some of the staff took us out! Great place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liked: As a travel writer I stat in a lot of places. First the staff is fantastic. The showers, bathrooms and hostel facilities are extra clean. The beds are comfortable, sheets and pillows are nice. The 4 bed dorm rooms that I experienced do not have bunk beds. Outdoor area in back is nice. Good mix of travelers to meet there. There are plenty of toilets & showers.

Disliked: It is at an intersection of two very noisy streets. The rooms on the street side are extremely noisy and during the hot times you can not open the windows for a breeze and have any quiet.

Liked: It was located relatively near to the main town centre so there was no need to spend money on taxis. The building and interior itself is lovely and with splendid decor and a very clean interior you forget that you are in a hostel. One member of staff in particular was wonderful and helpful. The organised tour to Auchwitz was worth it as they pick you up and drop you off at the hostel. 3 computer terminals was helpful. The kitchen was always clean. Close to a few supermarkets/convenience stores and a cash machine. The breakfast is basic cereal but they do include a sandwich which we saved for lunch, overall a pleasant stay and excellent value for money!

Disliked: We only had one key between the two of us and was not so practical at times. A couple of members of staff were not so 'on the ball' but tried to be helpful none the less.
