Liked: Very helpful and friendly staff, brilliant value for money and the place has real character.

Disliked: Only thing that could be better is the location. It's only 10 minutes walk out from the centre though so it wasn't a problem for me.

Liked: The hostel staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, the room and bathrooms were very clean, breakfast was great and even though it did not have a parking there are free parking spaces just across the road which was cool. Very close to the main square - 10 to 15 minutes stroll.

Disliked: everything was OK.

Liked: Great multilingual staff. (Magyarul beszélő recepciós: Rita) Nice rooms. Good price!!! Located in the free parking zone!!!

Disliked: For me it's a bit far from center ( 15-20 min. walk ).

Liked: I was a little cautious regarding this hostel due to it's rating on this site. I don't know what those complainers are smoking because I lovedDeco Hostel, and it's staff. I've stayed in countless hostels in over 44 countries, & this was by far one of the best places I've ever stayed. It is CLEAN, the dorms are huge, the beds are comfy, the sheets are real linen & spotlessly white, the first load of laundry is Free! The kitchen is well stocked w/ everything needed to cook a meal, & the free breakfasts include a sandwich that I usually had for lunch. Seriously, this place is a ridiculously fantastic value.

Disliked: The location is a 15-minute walk from the center, but the upside is that you get more of a neighboorhood feel with all the locals going on about their day. Plus, the markets in the area are less expensive than those closer to the center.

Liked: Everything was ok, the rooms were very extravagant - we liked them very much, like living in a 19. century noble soft brothel :D no seriously it was the best hostel I ever was for now. (However there are also noisy rooms - our friends said, bu ours was perfect)

Liked: Exceedingly helpful staff, lovely large art deco rooms with high ceilings, cheap and well organised airport transfers. We'd certainly return to this hostel if we were visiting Krakow again.

Liked: I only stayed one night, and they were still so very helpful! They let me leave my luggage when I showed up at 6am, and then again on the day I was checking out until 10pm. Awesome staff that makes great recommendations on things to do in the city each day!

Disliked: Location - not bad, but but not the easiest place to get to Kasimierz from.

Liked: The staff are very helpful, the rooms are very spacious and stylish (you could mistake this for a hotel). For the cheap price it is a great deal with the added bonus of a free breakfast and they will even do a load of washing for you.

Disliked: It is a little out of the center (maybe 10-15 minutes walk) and next to a busy road. Unless your a very light sleeper you will not regret staying here, probably the best hostel i've been to.

Liked: Really nice Hostel, lovely decor, nice rooms, reasonable price -- Breakfast basic but ok.

Disliked: We stayed over a weekend fri and sat night and was VERY noisy, walls are paper thin -- there was a large group staying and our double room was on the same floor as all the dorms, not ideal but not sure if this is a regular occurence, maybe check wih Hostel first.

Liked: The Deco Hostel was brilliant, everything from the quirky layout of the building to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Whilst it is not the most central hostel it is still only 10 minutes walk from central Krakow which means you can choose whether to go out and experience the brilliant city or just relax in the common room watching a DVD or playing Xbox, unlike some other hostels where this decision is almost made for you.... It is also worth mentioning that whilst the hostel does not offer a parking facility all of the streets surrounding are free to park on which was handy as we arrived by car.

Liked: Everything--fantastic value! This is a beautifully restored building with well-coordinated decor; marvelously well maintained/ This being June the hostel had several school groups of older teens but managed them well; as an older adult I enjoyed the mix of ages and nationalities and did not feel out of place (this is NOT a party hostel and it's not in a party area of town) / When I asked the staff to open the windows and air out the room while all 4 guests were out during the day they did so AND asked later if the room had been refreshed to my satisfaction/ There is a bike rack in the enclosed courtyard but when I asked for an inside place to secure my bicycle I was able tol ock it in the cellar every evening/ The location is about one km from the northern edge of the Old City in a real residential neighborhood/ I had lost a bag with much of my clothing on the way to Krakow so I greatly appreciated the nearby neighhood shops; market stalls; and especially the Second Hand shops selling decent used clothing by the pound at very reasonable prices/

Disliked: Nie! Nothing! Nichts!

Liked: i liked the character of the building, clean too. appreciated the free breakfast and sandwich thay offered. all of the receptionists that were working there whilst i was there were very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: location seemed a little out of the way, but ok if you dont mind a short walk to the centre.

Liked: It was a 10 minute walk from the Old Town and the Cloth Hall. From the Old Town you can hop onto bus tours to Auschwitz & the Old Jewish Quarter. It was a good locations, nice staff, comfy bed.. all was good!

Disliked: Nothing really, it is exactly how it is described on the website.

Liked: The room was cosy and nice, the staff was helpful. The decoration of the hostel is nice as well. I loved the little maps provided by the hostel with the usefull translation in the back.

Disliked: I havn't dislike anything in this hostel

Liked: Awesome kitchen and common room!! Had a large selection of dvds to choose from when it was pouring with rain outside. They also give you a good sandwich for breakfast :)

Disliked: Nothing really...it was further from the city centre than expected, but was still doable on foot with good weather.

Liked: Lovely staff, great private room, like a hotel - ensuite etc. Plus each room has it's own character.. about 20min walk from town and easy enough to find - they offer one load of free laundry as well and the breakfast is grand.

Disliked: As others have said this wouldnt be a great place to meet people but if you are away with friends or partner you will have a great stay!
