Liked: Good atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff. The hostel had a lot of character and there's plenty space and opportunity for socializing or spending some quiet time in private. Highly recommended.

Disliked: There was a bit of noise in the morning from a building site nearby - I wouldn't let it put you off as it has probably finished now and it wasn't bad.

Liked: I stayed in the Charlie room - was lovely. The decor was lovely throughout the whole hostel and my room, and there is a good kitchen and garden to use, aswell as computers with free internet and a great TV room. I even had a balcony in my hostel room. There is free coffee and tea throughout the day, and a free breakfast consisting of cereals and a pre prepared sandwich which is really good. The staff are very helpful. I don't know here name, but there was a really helpful receptionist (tall, slim with long hair). I had booked a shuttle type bus to get me to the airport, and when I spoke to her about it she told me about the bus that goes there from right near the hostel. This saved me about 15 pounds, which I was able to use on my last night there. I would definitely stay at this hostel if I was to go back to Krakow. Was more like a hotel

Disliked: This hostel would have been perfect if it was a bit closer to town - about a 10/15 min walk to the centre. Would be great if it had more social events going on at the hostel, as it does not have a bar there.

Liked: This was honestly the best hostel I have ever stayed in! The staff were so friendly, such good value for money free breakfast/lunch, free wifi, great common room, and they had a bbq with free food and drink on the last day I was there! Amazing hostel!

Liked: Nice Art Deco theme, and a pleasant place to stay.

Liked: Words cannot describe how wonderful this hostel is. Before making this booking I read a comment made by a previous guest who described the hostel as 'more like a four star boutique hotel' and they couldn't have put it better. Atmosphere is fantastic, staff are helpful, breakfast is great, they do your washing for you?!?!!! (what's that all about?!) you could eat your dinner off the toilet seat; it's that clean and the price is a total steal! Wished I'd stayed for a week. Had a great time, there is seriously no were else worth staying in Poland! If there are spaces book now, it's a total must!!!!!!!!

Liked: Deco Hostel was probably the best hostel we've ever stayed in so far. All facilities were clean, tidy and modern. There was a special atmosphere around that place. We felt very safe and the staff was always helpful and polite.

Liked: Every staff member was extremely helpful. The property itself is quite large and has many nice amenities. The location is great and the value for what your paying is unbeatable.

Disliked: The only thing I had trouble with was getting to the hostel from the train station. In there directions it should note that the #5 tram is underground and 2 stops from the train station.

Liked: Pretty much everything. The price is very good and t he facilities are amazing. The beds are very good as well.

Disliked: It's not that close to the center, but it's not a real problem, with 15 minutes walking you can reach everything

Disliked: Location is a bit far from centre , takes about 15-20 minutes. And it locates next to a big road, so noisy during the night. But these are not big issues, can be overcome.

Liked: Absolutely gorgeous! Felt like a 4 star hotel. Really nice having a theme. Really comfortable beds, great showers and the cleanest hostel we've been in (absolutely spotless). The common room is incredible - computers, tv, films, xbox, sofas. The kicthen is brilliant. Breakfast wasa good, got a sandwich which could be kept for lunch. Good coffee/tea. Oven! Can't believe we got so much for our money. Really helpful staff, sorted us out with all the logisitcs of getting to Auschwitz. No bar so possibly a little quieter (not a party hostel) but plenty of common space meant that it was still really friendly and sociable. Location wasn't amazing but given that Krakow is so small and everything from the ring road leads to the centre is was fine and worth the walking. Directions from hostelbookers website weren't that good so maybe email them and ask for clearer ones.

Disliked: Not enough lockers for everyone. Would have been better if the hostel were more central, there's nothing to do where it is you have to walk.

Liked: They gave you free breakfast and a sandwich. It was also a very good price for the quality of the rooms and showers etc they also had a lovely common room although there were never anyone else in there to socialise with.

Disliked: It was quite far from the centre and it was a very good place to meet other travellers.

Liked: I liked the hostel a lot! It was really nice and clean and the staff was helpful. We got our breakfast earlier than the rest of the guests as we were living very early. The backyard was nice too:)) And it's cheap!

Disliked: I didn't like the location as it was close to the main road! It was so noisy at night that I couldn't sleep and had nightmares. But I know it is a minor disadvantage and whole in whole the hostel was great and if next time I'm in Kraków I'll definately stay there.
