Mainly the location in an old house. It was a good idea to establish a hostel there.
But there is a bit too much administration (questionnaire etc.) which was awkward in the middle of the night when we arrived.

Walkable to both the Jewish Ghetto and the Main square. Beds were good and there was free internet access

This place was really worth of money! The building looks really old and ugly from the street but hostel is really new and all the places are clean and new. In the rooms there are big lockers with keys. Bathrooms are big (male and female use the same ones) and clean. There is also free coffee and tea (self-service). There is no kitchen for guests, that´s only minus side for this hostel. We took a tram from railwaystation but you can also walk there easily :)

no-frills but excellent for the price. the staff were really friendly, the lockers in the rooms were great, and the bathrooms & showers were fantastic! it's about a 15 min walk from the old town but really close to wawel castle and the jewish district. the luggage storage looked a bit dodgy tho - in a shed at the back- but nothing was lost.

I don't usually do these surveys, but this place is absolutely amazing - the whole place is newly-renovated, the showers have their own little room; after 2 months of doing the European hostel thing, I can honestly say that it was the best hot shower yet. The guy at the desk was down to Earth and told me to blow off their laundry service, going across the street instead... really helpful stuff like that. This place is the right choice.

I liked everythin- apart from the stairs!!! I had trouble getting up them after partying! The staff (especially mike) were fantastic, it was so safe and a trip that I will never forget.

The rooms were really clean and nice, and the staff was really helpful. While it was a bit of a hike from the main train station to there, it had several cheap grocery stores and cheap restaurants close by, and was very close to Wawel hill, one of the main attractions of Krakow. Sadly there was no free breakfast or kitchen, but a table with a kettle, mugs and free tea and coffee was set out for our use, which was a definite plus.

It was clean, close walking distance to everything. The staff were increadibly friendly upon arrival and made every effort to accomodate us even though we arrived very early!!!!
