Liked: it's cheap, excellent location, nice common room and kitchen

Disliked: -wooden beds and door really noisy -no heating -I didn't like how staff approached me ,sometimes they are too free in their manners. -recommended, but for really young people

Liked: Great staff. Great location. It is fairly small so it is easy to meet people.

Disliked: Laundry is advertised but it costs a lot to do it. Also, booking a 6 dorm room put me in a room with 10 beds.

Disliked: Not a party hostel as described by other guests (no free vodka or anything like that) Quiet and boring When i left, the girl of the reception asked me to pay a second time and had to phone her collegue to check if i was lying. Not a big deal but very unpleasant, especially as she didn`t really apologize for her mistake

Liked: The location wasn't bad, although despite its description its not in the Old Town proper as it's outside the Planty.

Disliked: This is a really grotty and shabby hostel. I've stayed in numerous hostels in Cracow and this is by far the worst. The cleaning is done by the receptionists, which just makes the whole place grimy. In the greasy kitchen the only cooking facilities are an old hotplate that you have to light by match. Even the only kettle is a non-electric one that you have to heat on this hob. The common room has most of its little seating just clustered in a corner near the television. It was rather cold and when I asked for heating it was provided (to limited success) in the most astonishing form: a huge gas canister as might be used when camping, with on top what looked like a foil tray that had to again be lit with a match; it was truly bizarre. My bunk bed seemed to be designed for children, as I (being average height) could neither lie full length in it nor sit up.

Liked: Fantastic location, helpful and very kind staff. Rooms and linen were clean. There is a pretty large community room, that is a great advantage.

Disliked: There has been hardly heating, although it snowed outside

Liked: Excellent hospitality! Good location, very near to the train station & the Old Town. Generosity of the staffs, allowing us to stay in the hostel till we catch our train at midnight!...Also, for their complementary food tasting of homemade vodka & sour soup even when we have checked out!

Disliked: Probably more heaters will be better...but the staffs have given us lots of warmth!

Liked: Very friendly staff and pretty good location.

Disliked: I was there in February and it was very cold inside the hostel! They did however give us extra blankets, no problems, when we asked for it.

Liked: The best hostel in krakow. The best location in Krakow (3min walk from Railway Station, 5 min from Main Square). Staff are great especially Justyina and Gosia...

Liked: Great staff, good location, lots of events planned during the week for guests and nice atmosphere.

Disliked: The building itself is fairly old, and a little cold but aside from that it was great.

Liked: The staff are so so good :) The bathrooms are ridiculously clean every day. the free breakfast is great. We loved this place.

Disliked: Can be a little cold inside during the day and early evening but rooms are fine at night.

Liked: The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. They will do everything possible to make you feel at home and extend your stay if desired (which from experience, most people will). Countless lemon vodka shots every evening. Special days including free soup, peroggis and barbecues at the lake... the girls will regularly come out and party too! Zodiakus is an awesome place to meet people and become instant family. There is always something happening. A homely environment in a great location with everything you need nearby. Can't say enough good about this place! Love you Zodiakus! I will be back!

Liked: Good hostel, was a bit noisy the first night contrary to what the other reviews said, but the other nights were great. Small, but good location and good place to meet people...breakfast def. a plus!

Liked: Can't fault the staff at this place, they couldn't be more helpful, friendly and welcoming. However, if you're a traveller who likes to get up at a decent hour, actually see and do things on your trip and observe the hostels 'quiet hours' then you might not fit in here. If you are more interested in sleeping til 4pm then drinking all night with no consideration for other guests, slamming doors at 4am, getting Polish girls drunk and taking advantage of them in a communal bedroom or outside the window then you would fit right in with the other idiots who made sure I probably won't return to this hostel
