Simon CowleyWe stayed in the private rooms, and this is essentially a large flat with (i think) 4 bedrooms sharing two bathrooms. The staff come to the flat every day, and are very friendly and helpful and the place is kept very clean. We were provided with tea, coffee, milk and breakfast items every day to use, and on our first night were invited to a free meal at the main hostel (we had to turn this down as we had other arrangements made). Location is good, only a few minutes walk to the old town, and round the corner from the bus stop to the station. Would definately recommend this, or stay again if I return the Krakow. |

Customer reviewIt was within easy walking distance of the old town but had the benefits of being away from it when you wanted to be |

Susan ShadoffA little confusion seeing as I'd booked a private room and ended up in the hostel part, though with my own room! The staff were quite friendly and helpful, and it was great to do laundry for free! |

Customer reviewvery easy going, not too quiet but not too loud either. it would be perfect if they had some space for smokers, something like balcony or a tiny little garden |

Customer reviewFree, off-the-beaten track tours were offered by the hostel. Free dinner is provided on Thursdays, although I was not around on a Thursday to benefit from this. The only aspect I didn't quite like was that the common computer was right outside my room so there was a tendency for it to be noisy around my room as people congregated around the computer. |

Jamie MumfordGreat location between Old Town and Kazimierz. Walk from station really is not very far. Nice, informal atmosphere, lovely decor, very clean, free breakfast whenever you get up! It felt like you were just staying at a friends apartment! Best thing was their Krakow Kit- 8 pages of all the best places to go. The three bars they recommended in Kazimierz where all really fabulous. Would be our first choice in Krakow again. |

Carolyn BuckleyHaving never travelled to Poland before I was feeling rather nervous but I upon arrival was made feel most welcome by the staff. The hostel is spacious/very clean/light and airy and had a special comfortable feel about it and maybe it was the fact also that this delightful place is hidden away behind an old facade. It is situated so very close to the Castle/Old Town /the river and Sheraton just around the corner and probably a half hour walk from the station or a very cheap taxi ride . It is the first time I have ever stayed in a youth hostel and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would return again .The hostel residents were always friendly /respectful of privacy and comings and goings were quiet. The staff were always willing to give advice and directions/supply maps to assist and make the holiday in Krakow most memorable. I found the free use of internet brilliant as I needed to keep in touch with family each day. |
