Liked: Very good location, good facilities in lounge area.

Disliked: It was very cold in room and almost freezing in bathroom. I came back ill to home. Depressing design. I haven't felt safe outside - there is a go-go club in the basement of building. In my opinion this hostel is overpriced and I would not recommend it.

Liked: Location, location, location -- only fifteen minutes walk from the train station and only two minutes from the central plaza and some of the historic sites. Bathrooms were kept clean and the shower had great hot running water. The breakfast room was well supplied and a great place to meet people besides offering an adequate variety of food. There were ample computers available.

Disliked: Lacked a good reading light in the room.

Liked: Fantastic location for a reasonable price, with good conditions.

Disliked: The staff was really unpleasant, not very polite, which is a shame, because it was the only negative thing about the place.

Liked: Super close to town/train, very quiet even though on main street - my room faced the inner courtyard. Nice bathrooms, great showers! Really comfortable well-lit rooms with high ceilings, writing desk and bedside table (I had a private single room). Room locks from inside, key to main building and another for second floor (secure), really nice kitchen, no oven though. Nice staff - helped me get my suitcase up the two flights of stairs :) Free wifi, accessible from room. I had a really nice time here!

Disliked: Didn't get a free towel? And one toilet was out of use (but the shower/sink was still useable) Can't complain about anything else!

Liked: Very good location, clean.

Disliked: The beds are awful, mattresses are old, you can feel the springs sticking out. The breakfast was basic and when I asked for more milk they said they didn't have any. The key to half of the dorms and toilets is the same key, i.e. you can open your door with the key from the toilet!

Liked: The rooms were clean, location was very convenient (only few minutes and you reach Wawel Castle).

Disliked: Staff charged us extra for linen, although on the web-page it was stated that it is free. Actually, it is free only if you stay for two nights or more (as we found out). Double bed was relatively narrow so sleeping was not very comfortable. We didn't get any towels, although in the page it was stated that towels are free. Breakfast was poor (not much to choose from, all people use the same jam jar, butter pack), need to wash dishes (not very hygienic - dishes should be washed-sterilized in dish washer). Car parking near hostel is free only from 18PM till 10AM during weekdays. No hot water was available in the nearest shower.

Disliked: The receptionist tried to rip us off with the local currency. ALWAYS PAY IN EUROS!!

Liked: The location of the hostel is perfect for access to all the pubs and clubs. The famous krakow square is 5 mins. walk.

Disliked: The reception of the hostel is most of times closed and no one is there.

Liked: good location and nice hostel,

Disliked: our stuff got stolen during a black out on our floor and someone the night before came into our room in the middle of the night when we were the only ones in there, pretty sure the management had a hand in the theft of our stuff, when we went to tell them about it, no one was at reception, had to place a police report, hopefully the cunts involved have their hands and heads removed

Liked: The location at Westerplatte along the tram way is good.

Disliked: Yet, the hostel is split between two floors, with the stair accessible for the entire building and not just for the hostel itself, which lessens my rating for security. Besides, the rooms at the ground floor are isolated from the kitchen and common room in the second floor. Whenever one needs hot water or cooking late in the night, one has to take the key and a torch, hold the utensils with the armpits and walk upstiars. This is quite inconvenient.
