denise ushikuboI recomend Greg Tom Hostel to everybody: young and old, poor and rich, boys and girls, everyone who likes good service, friendly people and fun. The staff is helpfull and really nice. They create an amazing atmosphere in the hostel. There is a comfortable living room, but the meeting point is the kitchen. It is clean and full of guests in the morning (breakfast) and in the evening (they offer dinner too). Every day they offer a special activity, like polish dinner and vodka tasting. Some of them are extra paid, but it worth each zloty (polish money)! They have also facilities to book visits to Auschwitz and Wieliczka. I stayed 3 nights in a 4 bed room. It was comfortable and clean. There was no ensuite bathroom, but each floor has one bathroom and it is enough. There are internet, coffee, tea and washing machine free of charge. |

The staff were fantastic and nothing was a hassel for them, even putting on a stunning spread of breakfast and supper everyday! We especially enjoyed the Valentines Day themed night with champagne for everyone!!! |

Michael WoodwardGreat location near the train station, and very central to Old Town district. Only few minor complaints were that the traffic was noisy until quite late at night, and rooms were cold (in December) and sometimes the showers were. But once you worked out the heating system, it would warm up quite nicely. Main thing though was the hostel has nightly actvities to help introduce everyone to each other and around Krakow - which is really worth visiting too! I'd definitely stay there again, and I would like to visit Krakow again. |
