Liked: Small, cosy, clean, decent breakfast, comfortable ... happy to recommend.

Disliked: Nit picking, but bed sheets a bit on the old side, and mattresses could have been comfier. Noise could potentially be an issue if you wanted to sleep early on, as it's a small hostel, with communal area right next to sleeping areas, but really depends on individuals!

Liked: Nice staff and good location but few negatives. Mattresses were foam and thin, the door was loud when you entered and exited the building, kitchen was very simple (1 cooking hotplate) and you had to get cooking utensils from the reception downstairs, breakfast was served in the bar downstairs which was a little too small when it got crowded, and the room was cold and the heating could not be turned on.

Liked: We enjoyed our stay very much. the owners and staff are friendly and will help you out in every situation. The rooms are clean and appealing. the location can only be described as perfect! 5 min walking distance to bars and city centre...we highly recomend this hostel...

Liked: Very friendly staff and good location between old town and Jewish quarter though the street can be deserted. Only complaint is that toilets are extremely small and there are only three showers for an entire floor of people. Thank you!

Liked: Especially for the price, this was a great place to stay. The location is great (within walking distance of many of the major sights in Krakow). The water in the shower didn't stay warm for very long the first night, and I didn't really like that the reception area is next door to the rooms, as opposed to connected. However, the breakfast was fine, the atmosphere was fun, and all the staff there was very friendly and answered any questions knowledgeably! Also, it's nice that they had a computer for anyone to use for free, as well as free wi-fi.

Liked: The whole staff was extremely nice and helpful which was the best part of the stay ... and that's saying a lot because the location was perfect! Right next door to the Wawel Castle and a short walking distance to everything else. All of the workers chatted with me and offered free drinks which was very nice as well. This was my first time at a hostel and I've always heard horror stories, but this was such a great experience that I would love to do it again at the Ars Hostel.
