Liked: The staff were really friendly and helpful. They offered to help my friends and me store our luggage during the day when we checked out. Moreover, they are very informative about the sights and places of interest to visit. The hostel is catered for backpackers and hence the atmosphere is really good. It's definitely a good place to meet other backpackers.

Disliked: There are actually 2 hostels associated with the company. The one which we stayed at, AAE Krakow Hostel isn't as good as the Mosquito one. The walls are paper-thin. On our second night, we could hear a couple quarreling and arguing in the next room.

Liked: the staff were awesome and very sweet...they were all helpful, fun and energetic :)

Disliked: the beds were a little hard for sleeping on, but thats not too big a deal

Liked: They run events most nights of the week - such as film nights, games nights, bar crawls. It seemed a good place for young people to meet and go out etc, but also a good place for families - we saw quite a few kids there. The room was very good, bunk beds are fun to sleep in.

Disliked: The washing machine is constantly in use. The hostel is split into two buildings, if you are not in the main one, you have to go to the main building to use the kitchen and get breakfast - but it was literally round the corner so it's only a minor inconvenience.

Disliked: no common room, no proper kitchen but you can use mosquito hostel's facilities so i recommend you to stay at mosquito

Liked: A good hostel. It's in a very good location and the staffs are really nice and helpfulness.

Disliked: The breakfast is not included (and it is a little bit expensive). Sometimes the building's hall smells like pee (there are some cats in the building).

Liked: great location - staff at the Mosquito Hostel right nearby - they were very helpful, kind and accommodating! For a lively time, I'd choose the Mosquito - but for our family the AAE Krakow was perfect - quiet but with access to everything

Liked: private double ensuite, clean and very good location 2min from Train Station, 5min from City centerReception is in Mosquito Hostel, not very convinient to get internet, tea, breakfast because we had to change of building each time !

Liked: It's close to the train station and the old town square. However, our private room is next to a kitchen space that's filled with dirty old junk and looks more like a storage room. The shared bathroom is tiny and doesn't always have hot water. The hostel is not self-contained and shares a corridor with other apartments. The AAE Mosquito is a night and day difference compared to this.

Liked: The room was nice, big and clean with a wonderful view of the Planty (green area around the old town) and the staff was really helpful and nice:) There`s basically no kitchen, or it cannot be used..... But it is really cheap!

Liked: This was my first stay at a hostel. I was traveling with my nephew who frequently stays at hostels and he convinced me to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and helpful, with a special thanks to Adrian and Bartek. Another big plus for me was the cleanliness of the facility. I would definitely book with this hostel again!!!

Liked: Fantastic location (5 mins walk from the centre), friendly staff, big room. Right next to a tram/bus stop and supermarket. Good value for money, although the kitchen facilities are only good in the adjacent AAE Mosquito hostel. The AAE Krakow is nice but very quiet (feels almost like you've hired an apartment!). Overall a great place to stay, particularly for the location.
