Liked: A small and intimate place to stay, almost like staying with friends. Had own spacious room with own bathroom. The team were lovely and very helpful in terms of sharing their local knowledge and guides. Excellent location for trams and local buses especially if you wanted somewhere quite yet accessible. Good for tours like getting local bus to Auschwitz rather than having to go into centre.

Liked: Aga and Geoffery are amazing! They helped us work out how to see everything we wanted to see and just kept feeding us! The breakfast is HUGE, the bathroom is beautiful and spotless, You really feel like you are a guest in their house rather than in a hostel. We booked for 2 nights are were still not ready to leave after 5. LOVED IT!

Liked: Reviews appear too good to be true, but really they are. This is the best hostel ever. The hospitality is genuinely amazing. The room was nice and clean. There was free wi-fi, and a PC to use in the kitchen/dining room. Sole complain is was the bed was too soft for my tastes. Although it's a walk from town, it's only a 2.50z? tram which takes a few minutes. Brilliant.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful, a real home from home. The breakfast was excellent and the little packed lunches a nice touch. The distance from the centre really wasn't a problem - 15-20 mins walk or 10 mins by tram. Only issue with the private rooms with shared bathroom is that there is only 1 shared bathroom...so we did end up waiting a long while for the shower on occasion.

Liked: I was in the single bed room, which was on the ground floor. Since I am long the bed was a little bit too short for me. The room was next to the entrance door and next to the toilet to ear plugs were required to get some sleep. But the staff and people were nice, and everything was clean and maintained very well. Also great that there was wifi available.

Liked: Loved, loved loved this place! Arrived tired from our overnight train at 1030 but were given the free breakfast (was very nice) and our room was free straight away. Something on every night eg free pizza, makes it great to meet new friends. Common room a comfortable place to hang out in. Staff so friendly and give us food for our day each day. 5 mins on the tram to the centre of town. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Liked: Really friendly and helpful staff. Ask 'em a question and they'll really help you. Clean bathroom, nice location - not right in the centre but in a nice and peaceful neighbourhood.

Liked: The Elephant on the Moon Hostel is excellent. The staff are amazing. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to help you with any issues or adventures. Aga helped me arrange a trip to a small town in central Poland. She went as far as calling rental car companies and setting up a rental for me. It was beyond helpful.The hostel is super clean, friendly and chill. It is a bit outside the downtown area, but in a very safe and attractive part of the city - right by the river. Unless you need to walk outside of your hostel and fall into a club, this place is amazing.
