alexander vinogradovReaaly value for money. Dorm room like just under the roof - you can stand only on the stirs while getting there. But for this money it's OK |

Geraint WilliamsThe first thing they did was to show the 2 bed dorm to us and explain why it was so cheap. We understood that we couldn't stand up or open the window there because the dorm is actually in the attic. We were happy with that. That didn't really matter so we took it. I seemed OK. Little did we know that on our first night I was gonna get bitten by some sort of bug. My face, hand, hips and feet were covered with bites and we asked to change the rooms. The hostel staff didn't help much. We asked if there was another room available but they asked us to pay extra for the other room, which we didn't think it was fair due to something that wans't our fault. At night, we asked another staff to change the room and it was even worst. Not only she didn't believe it was a bug bite the girl also suggested that it was a food allergy and if we were not happy we could go to "another place that they clean everyday". She kept saying that she showed us the room and we accepted it.Which is true, but we didn't ask for bed bugs.If that was part of the room deal she didn't specified that. They have the right to doubt it but I suppose since I am almost 30 years old and pregnant I would know better what to eat.Besides, I am not alergic to anything, apart from insects bites. We later found out that it was bed bugs because my husband got bitten as well.I just only hope that they didn't come home with us. So, yes, we accepted the smallest room and we were fine with that but we would've never said yes if we knew there was bed bugs in there. I guess the owner and the staff could've been nicer even apologizing for the incovinience. Unfortunatelly that didn't happen at all. They were just acting weird aftwards like we did something wrong. I believe my rate is a big ZERO to this hostel and I hope that doesn't happen to anyone else. Things could've been different if only they had the common sense to change our room and treat the guests right.Clients are not always right but you know the difference between right and wrong, don't you? |

Customer reviewThere are three rooms- two are quite lovely, but they put me in a 'two person' room in the loft storage. I couldn't stand in my room, I couldn't have the window open overnight because of the rain. I ripped my jeans whilst trying to crawl around in the room. I understand the room was cheap, but I was not comfortable in that room and they could not offer me an alternative. |

Hannah Lisonwas in a really unusual building, full of character and really homely, the staff were really friendly and helpful but it is a small hostel so not the opportunity to meet alot of people. not a problem though if you're not looking for something really busy. we really really enjoyed our stay thank you! |
