Flamingo Hostel in Krakow with the best location in town, is right in the heart of the old town, only 20m away from the famous Main Square, the largest open square in Europe. Nearby you'll find many funky clubs, music bars, restaurants, shops and theaters.

Flamingo Hostel has a great location, a comfortable and enjoyable common room, the cleanest, best-equipped kitchen, the brightest and nicest rooms and the most modern bathroom (with the hottest and best showers). Add to that free internet, free breakfast, free tea and coffee all day, free linen and a laundry service. We have a range of dorm rooms and also some private rooms. Our dorms sleep from 4, 6, 8 or 10 people.

Unfortunately none of our staff speak Korean, Norwegian, Georgian or actually quite a few other languages. But English, Polish, French, German, Spanish, Russian - we'll give them a good shot. And our staff are really very knowledgeable about what's on in Krakow.

We have a lot of games - and not just cards and chess - and heaps of books and magazines. We also have hundreds of different satellite TV stations from round the world - Eurosport, BBC, CNN, etc - as well as DVDs. Otherwise you can just sit in one of our super comfy sofas and stare at the flamingos, or sit at the window and watch the world pass by on Szewska Street below.

We should tell you, Szewska Street really is one of the most exciting streets in Krakow. It's only a few hundred meters long, but it has at least five or six clubs and lots and lots more nice bars and restaurants. It joins onto the main square - Flamingo Hostel is approximately 42 meters from this square, which has got to be one of the biggest, liveliest, most enthralling squares in Europe. It is in the center of the Old Town, which, as already mentioned, plays host to countless bars, clubs and restaurants, as well as most of the city's best museums, churches, galleries, theaters, shops, basilicas and everything else that takes your fancy. (And the city's best hostel, of course.) It really is a special place and we want to make sure you get to see the best of it while you're here.
