Liked: It a lovely place, with lost of character, it has everything you need and more. I spend a wonderful time there, the stuff was really nice and helpful and met lots of friendly travellers. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

Liked: Had yet again a brilliant time there. It was the third time I've stayed and every time has been a blast. Free pool table, breakfast, BBQ's, towels, internet, etc. Its a sweet place to stay check it out! It's not in the old town which is the main party area but is right next to the Jewish quarter which I find 3 times as much fun anyways. Heaps of cool (cheaper) bars and great food spots are all a 5-10 minute walk away. Can't rate it highly enough go and have a blast!

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay in goodbye lenin pub and garden, the staff were extremely helpful and really friendly! The rooms were clean and spacious, free breakfast was a great bonus!

Liked: The staff were lovely an so helpful. They make you feel comfortable. I even got a personal tour of the hostel. Plus the free breakfast is so delicious.

Disliked: I stayed in room 1, which was across from the reception, so it was a little loud throughout the night.

Liked: This is the best hostel I've ever stayed at! Really cheap and clean with excellent facilities. The staff were friendly very helpful (there was a problem with the hot water on the last morning of my visit and the receptionist made sure it was fixed quickly and properly). It's a great place to meet people, the bar is cheap and the regular barbecues give people an excuse to hang around in the evening. The communist theme gives the hostel a real sense of character and the kitchen is large and well equiped.

Disliked: The only bad point I can think of is the fact that some of the rooms (the female only dorm for instance) face a train track and it is a bit noisy early in the morning.

Liked: There were open BBQ's which meant great cheap food and a super social night! the staff were extremely kind and helpful, they literally bended over backwards to help us! There were plenty of showers which was a great bonus!

Disliked: the noise at night was quite distracting.

Liked: The website looked great, and the hostel lived up to the hype.The staff are very helpful and friendly.For example, I had a nose bled, and one of the staf rushed to get me a tea towel with ice packed in it.He insisted that I stay seated on the sofa for at least 10 minutes, even though the bleeding had stopped soon after applying the ice pack.The staff were even prepared to call an ambukance.The breakfast is a continental-type fayre - cheese, meat, bread, cereal, tea, coffee, juice.This was included in the price, making the cost per night even more of bargain.The hostel is located a few minutes walk from a cash point, supermarket and other shops, and about 20 minutes walk from the main square.You will not be dosappointed in your stay here.
