Liked: This place is so nice, very clean and modern, very helpful staff, i would stay here again, the only problem was there was no one there being just after nye, would love to come in summer :D :D thanks

Liked: This is the best hostel I ever visited. Clean, nice and safe place with very good organised common place, nice design of hostel, perfect location in the centre of the city, nice bar for some drinks or whole parties... It can be written a book about things I liked at this hostel.

Liked: it is located quite near to main railway station

Disliked: a lot of little things at the private room! oh my god! i and my friend got bitten during sleep the staff was nice but we still needed to see doctor and buy some medicine to take as it was too hard to bear it we guess it was because of fleas........ if you don't mind paying money this hostel is overall okay, at least the kitchen is pretty nice

Liked: Great location, clean and nice rooms with plenty of space and all the facilities you need.

Disliked: Bathroom could do with being cleaned a little more often as there are so many guests it gets dirty fairly quickly but not really a bad word to say.

Liked: Great location, great staff, great lounge area. Nice computer, too.

Disliked: Needs more air flow, seems a bit stuffy sometimes, but it's not too bad.

Liked: We loved the hostel. Very spacious clean rooms with giraffe blankets, very funky. Free shot token on arrival for whenever you want. Huge bar and loads of room for lounging around. Free internet and free breakfast.

Disliked: It could have been nearer to the old town centre and shop, saying that it was a bout a 10-15 minute walk. It didn't take very long! I couldn't complain about anything else, it was lovely.

Liked: The amazing atmosphere, awesome bar, very very nice staff, met loads of awesome people here and many people who were not even staying at Giraffe but just enjoying a drink in the bar. LOVED IT. Also rooms were clean and nicely decorated.

Disliked: Nothing really, everything was just perfect!

Liked: clean private room for 2 with bath towels provided. Free breakfast and WIFI provided too. Clean toilet and showers. Plus It was nice for the hostel to gave us a free welcoming shot too. Overall a pleasant stay and certainly worth its money.

Disliked: the private room was situated quite near to the entrance of the hostel. Voices could be heard clearly from our rooms. It was still at an acceptable level though.

Liked: Close to the main market square and train station. Whole place is located on one floor. There is a bar and fully equiped Kitchen in the Hostel.

Disliked: There could be more plugs in the recepcion...

Liked: Best hostel we've ever stayed at, could've been our luck but we had the best time at this place on our trip. We met awesome people and went out every night with the staff who are amazing. The location is great but we didn't see much of the town anyway.. if your looking for a good nights sleep and not to go out much this probably isn't the place to be.. they have a 24 hour bar which is loud most of the time.

Liked: Its located near the old town, just within walking distance.

Disliked: The bar is actually very near to my room. The loud & uncontrolled music plus the smell of cigarettes made me sick. The staff members are not always helpful. I told the girl in the reception that their wifi doesn't work (while she's chit-chating with guys). She just threw me "are you sure?" then returned to the matter after 20minutes. If she actually came for partying, I don't think she should be a staff.

Liked: The location was good, it was close to the Old Town and other sites. It was cheap

Disliked: The washing machine was broken. It was really loud. The breakfast was free but was lacking. The cleanliness was questionable. The linen did not even fit the bed. Security was a bit of concern, we were ther for 3 nights and the only time the front door was locked was the night/day we left. The room door did not seem to be able to be locked they did give you a padlock for the lockers in the room. If you want somewhere to party (24hr bar) and dont mind dirt then this is a cheap place to stay.

Liked: The bar was 24 hours and the environment was nice. Great interaction between guest and staff. Big rooms.

Disliked: The place is the messiest establishment I've ever been to! The washing machine didn't work, only 2 showers working for all the guests. Broken forniture. Looked pretty much decaying. BED BUGS epidemy!! Every single guest was complaining about bed bug bites. Nightmare, it iches the whole day and it gets all over your body. The reception system is totally inefficient, the staff made mistakes all the times about prices payed as deposit for the keys and towel, a lot of people working at the desk in different days of the week and shifts and not inserting the right information in the system so the another coleague can access and proceed with his/her work. Had to change rooms due to availability and had problem 3 times concerning their lack of organization and professionalism. The rooms and the bathrooms were heavily dusty. The breakfast table was set in the morning then left aside... an ugly mess missing itens all the time. There seemed to be no one responsible for the maintenance of the food. I was given a jar of water from the staff guy to take to the table to prepare myself a coffee, the jar was dirty inside. I felt disgusted for all the coffees and teas I had there, having seen the concern they have regarding cleanliness.

Disliked: For my own opinion, I don't like to have party night on Saturday, I need rest more than party. But in this case, I think it really depends.

Liked: Was easy to locate and close to the main square. There was 9 of us on holiday, and the hostel accommodated us perfectly!

Liked: good location.. just 10 min walking from most of main atractions. The bedroom was too messy, but it's not the staff's fault. The place is also very good to meet people and have some fun! Highly Recommended!
