Liked: although it is not 3-floor building with red bricks. baltic hostel is still nice place to stay if you visit Gdansk!

Liked: Not much. Breakfast was adequate and there is free internet on one computer.

Disliked: As already listed, rooms were small and uninviting. Hostel was dark and dingy and in an awful location at industrial business park. Perhaps we were unlucky and others will have a different experience, but we had a large group of early 20year olds staying who came back at 2am and partied until around 5:30am. They were incredibly loud and kept the whole hostel awake. The staff member attempted to quiten them down but had no effect. If this is the kind of groups the hostel invites, then the staff should be responsible enough to force them to be quiet or have them removed - unacceptable to allow noise levels to have continued for so many hours.

Liked: Can't think of anything I liked about the hostel.

Disliked: Difficult to find. Too many people for the number of toilet/shower facilities. Lack of privacy in the toilet/shower area, always crowded.

Liked: The Manager is excellent! The owner isa very friendly man and speak good German language!Free tea and coffee andsometimes free soups!

Liked: The staff was very nice and personal. The extra services like breakfast etc are uncommon.

Disliked: Nothing. Possibly the map I loaded down from the computer was outdated which meant that I had some difficulty in finding the hostel the first evening.

Disliked: Unsafe location,bad environment,cold atmosphere, unfriendly dishonest staff. Also wasnt very clean.

Disliked: it should have instruction about how to reach the hostel. it is easy to get lost and spend much more time than 10 ~20 mins.

Liked: Nothing.

Disliked: They squeeze in more beds into the room. The owner of the hostel will try to put as many people into rooms as he can. He also called a taxi for us to take us to the airport, whose meter was rigged so that it was fast and it was about 75% more than what we are supposed to pay (we didn't pay his price). This place is a rip off.

Liked: It was not far from the railway station and from the centre of the city.

Disliked: - the breakfast - the atmosphere of the rooms

Liked: I don't know why everybody denigrate this place...ok, from outside is a little awful but once you are inside it seems another place, is quite clean, and the private room was ok.

Disliked: the first night they didn't have our room free, but they gave us a 6-bed room just fopr us and the day after, we moved to a double.

Liked: location close to train and centre.Beds fairly comfortable and spacious room

Disliked: The showers were not a good set up,the staff were very unhelpful and lazy,mainly the 2 girl receptionists,using the only computer in the place while other people were waiting for them,eating breakfast while noone was watching the desk to help,allowing really noisy drunk people to party in the hall at 3 am and waking everyone up.and the attitude in general was bad with no apologies for anything i tried to ask about.

Liked: The location, as everyone says- was good. Car parking was convenient.

Disliked: The smell in the place was awful. The breakfast is not worth mentioning. They didn't have any maps, nor good advices to offer.
