Liked: Great location, free breakfast, nice rooms, excellent bathrooms & showers, laundry, kitchen ... everything was excellent. I arrived at 8am, they gave me breakfast,, they looked up trains for me, gave me a map & an umbrella as it was raining, really everything was excellent. I rated the Naughty Squirrels hostel in Riga very good, this was better, especially if you do not drink & like to be around drunk people. Gdansk is a lovely city, easily spend a day there w/another day to Sopot for the beach. Advice from train station: with your back to the train station, take the number 8 or 13 tram going to the right. Get off at the 6th stop. Walk under the road, 1st street on your right, walk around the building to the back, to see a sign saying 'hostel'

Liked: The bathrooms are brand new and the kitchen is fully equipped. The location is not in old town as the name says, but is not far(0,5km). The breakfast is good.

Liked: The guys at the reception are very helpful. I forgot his name (starts with M..) he is very helpful, guides well. Without him I would have missed Malbork's castle.. Location is perfect. Just few minutes walk to the old city and main train station.

Liked: Very nice hostel, great breakfast and some of the most helpful staff i've met. Very big thumbs up. only slight downside is the location, its a bit out of town, however the tram line is only across the road and after 6 stops you're at gdansk glowny! it is also walkable!

Liked: The owner was super nice. The outside of the building at the time seemed a bit daunting, but the place was very nice anyway. Don't be discouraged that you have to walk out of the old town, it is close enough and everything you need is in the area for a good price.

Liked: I stayed at the Old Town Hostel in Gdansk for one night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was clean, with hot shower and free tea/coffee all day long. I could leave my luggage in the luggage room for as long as I needed. I could use computer for free. In general I found the Old Town Hostel flexible in dealing with clients and their special needs. I would recommend the Old Town Hostel for those who wish to spend their time in a clean, friendly and flexible atmosphere at a reasonable price.

Liked: Short walk away from the old town. The staff is really friendly and the rooms are clean. One really huge private bathroom! The breakfast is big also, for this price the hostel is a real bargain!

Liked: The amtospehere in the breakfast room is gd. though the location is accessible to the sightseeing,, only 10 mins walking distance, the hostel is reli diffcuit to find. The instruction in the website is not that clear, we take by tram but don't know need to go subway or not after turn right....
