Liked: very good location - very friendly and helpful staff - and excellent cheap bike rental!!!

Disliked: Nothing - although the initial look of the front building is quite foreboding - completely misleading!!!

Liked: A GREAT hostel in a dodgy area of town, so take all available safety precautions! They have padlocks for the lockers available at reception for a 10zl deposit. The staff are incredibly helpful, knowledgable, and willing to do whatever they can to make your stay as fun and comfortable as possible. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the breakfast is excellent. They have comprehensive video surveillance around the property, which makes me feel a bit safer.

Disliked: Not enough toilets - the lineup first thing in the morning can get a bit out of hand!

Liked: Clean, good breakfast, good beds, good and clean shower, not far from the center, very nice kitchen

Disliked: The first impression very different how it is described on the internet.The location of the hostel looks not safe. I was afraid come back to the hostel from the old town in the evening. The room in the basement.

Liked: We met a lot of cool people at this hostel, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. For example, they carried our bags to our room and washed our clothes for free. The rooms were clean and good, and we all felt safe in the hostel and the area. The hostel is a short walk from the Old Town, which was good for us. Bearing in mind that we stayed there on a Monday and Tuesday night, we still managed to find somewhere to party in the evenings, and we could drink our own alcohol at the hostel. There's good access to the tramline that takes you straight to the main station.

Liked: Clean, well looked-after. Staff were willing to help out and spoke good english. Showers were clean and spacious. Reasonably quiet place- i didnt get kept awake at night. Comfortable beds. The kitchen was very sociable- a great place to meet and chat to people (although it was slightly small and got busy during the evening when everyone wanted to cook. It could also do with another table so more poeple can use it.) Only a few minutes walk to the old town - easy route to the main sights.I had a really good time and would definitely stay again.

Liked: The hostell was otherwise quite ok, but I think it was too much CCTV in common rooms. (CCTV:s in the kitchen/common room, internet access etc.). The common room was small and consisted of the kitchen table and a tv. Breakfast was ok.

Liked: one of the best hostel I ever stayed at:-situated in a quiet area but supermarket and a small 24 hours shop 5-10 minutes distance, city centre walking distance 15-20 minutes. -comfortable beds-hot water was always available, the showers and the whole hostel was very clean-kitchen 24 hours open, with free tea and coffee making facilities-very good breakfast, they also had vegetables (cucumbers and tomatoes), eggs , ham, cheese

Liked: Cheap, but it feels like a hotel. Breakfast is delicious, the conversations were interesting, the bathrooms immaculate, the room spacious, and pretty close to the main part of town. HIGHLY recommended.

Liked: my 2nd visit and I will go back for 3rd sometime.for after dark arrivals the area looks really unsafe, but it's fine and just looks a bit run down. inside hostel is lovely and looks very different from outside.instructions to get there are exellent - do exactly as they say and you should find it.in the daylight the area looks fine. only 10 min stroll to old town.go have a beer at nearby hotal gdansk where they brew it right there.
