Liked: It was a nice, quiet place. Easy to find and the price was decent. They didn't charge me for linens, which I appreciate and at 26 I received the under 26 rate (I hate this rule and find it ambiguous - what if you ARE 26?).

Disliked: Reception didn't seem to be 24 hour - the doors were shut and locked around 11 but there is a buzzer so I suppose if you were out later someone would come let you in? Most of the information is in Polish, but that's true throughout the region, with the parks, for example. Also, no drinking in the hostel.

Liked: A quiet place and nice exterior

Disliked: At arrival received by an old woman who didn't know about how the hostel worked. Really small beds, not suitable for big people.

Liked: Good location, helpful staff... it has the basics and let's face it, it is your only option.

Disliked: If you want to revisit your rebellious youth, and braid hair, paint nails or just talk about girls with the boys then this is the place! We were unfortunate to have a school tour come through our first night, and it was like being at camp again. However, it must be said that the second night, after the kids had left, was much much better. Nothing wrong with the place, just be wary it is an old school youth hostel in every sense.

Liked: The hostel has its unique design. Everything is like new. Staff is very friendly. Location is excellent. Bed linen and breakfast included in the price. All this just for 10 Eur night in a shared room.One of the best hostels I ever stayed!

Disliked: Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Liked: This hostel is extremely clean, both in its bathroom facilities as in the kitchen. Rooms are warm, and the personnel is helpful.

Disliked: Almost everything is in Polish only, and its location is slightly remote from the centre.

Liked: It's really the only hostel in Bialystok so you don't have much of a choice. It's in an odd location (behind some rather sketchy looking apartment buildings) but it seemed perfectly safe to me and it's only about a 2 minute walk to the main drag in Bialystok. The showers kind of suck and there were some odd people staying there, but for 7 US dollars a night it's well worth it!

Liked: Small hostel, quite nice, but located between much bigger buildings with some fascist graffiti on their walls - didn't add to my feeling of security, but nothing actually happened. Hostel itself is very nice!

Liked: Convenient for the train & bus station - catch bus number 1 or 18 from the train station & hop off at the first stop (2Pln). Hostel is on opposite side of the street behind apartment block number 7.

Liked: The staff are friendly and helpful. There is plenty of information about local activities. The rooms, bathrooms, etc., and kitchen facilities are very well maintained and very clean (and the beds are comfortable! :-)). Quiet location, easy walking distance to town, bus and train station.

Liked: This hostel was clean and the staff were helpful. We used it as a base to get to the National Park and it was fine for that. Definitely not a party hostel though.
