Liked: The staff and guests were super helpful. Also, it's very close to the ferry terminals, which are the main jumping points to nearby islands, about P80 by taxi. It's about P280 from the airport on a metered taxi.

Disliked: I woke up with a rash and a ton of bug bites. There were no screens on the windows to our room. Other than that, we got what we paid for, a cheap place to sleep between a flight and a ferry.

Liked: I will give 100% rating to Cebu Guesthouse. Value for money. Actually i didnt expect it to be that good because of the the rate. It's really cheap! Wifi is free. I like the hot shower in the common bathroom. Its clean and always smells good. I cook my own food with no charge. I love touring Cebu and Mactan with the motorbike or scooter that i rented. Thanks for the discount. :)

Disliked: Couch in the sala needs repair.

Liked: Some of the staff were friendly and helpful. Others were less than willing to help answer questions. The first room that I stayed in was not that great. The second room with a bathroom was much better. I think the rooms upstairs are much nicer than the rooms downstairs.

Disliked: I stayed in two different rooms. Both rooms had a mouse running around the room, and this freaked me out since I had never had this experience. The bathrooms downstairs were not that clean. Sometimes there was no toilet paper. I just bought roll of t.p. to make sure I had some. They really need to clean the rooms better. The general areas are well-kept, but the bedrooms and bathroom downstair are in poor conditions.

Liked: The location was good and it was a good place to make friends with other backpackers.

Disliked: I had bed bugs attacking me but I will probably come back again due to the location. Just remember to bring a sleeping bag for protection.

Liked: ONLY THING WE LIKED WAS US LEAVING!!!!

Disliked: FIRST OF ALL SAVE YOURSELF AND GO SOME WHERE ELSE!! BOOKED THIS ROOM OVER 3 WEEKS AGO. WE GET TO THE GUESTHOUSE AT 3:30PM AND CHECK IN WAS AT 2PM SO WE WERE FINE AND THEY TOLD US OUR ROOM WAS STILL IN USE AND WOULDNT BE READY TILL 7PM!!! THERE WAS ANOTHER COUPLE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM!! WE WERE VERY UPSET SO WE WAITED TILL 7PM AND THEN WE GO TO CHECK IN THEN THEY TELL US OUR ROOM IS STILL IN USE!!! THEY JUST KEPT LYING TO US. WE HAD BEEN TRAVELING ALL MORNING AND HAD A EARLY FLIGHT TO CATCH THE NEXT DAY SO WE WERE VERY TIRED. 8:30PM WE FINALLY GOT OUR ROOM WALKED IN. DOOR DIDNT LOCK WINDOWS DIDNT LOCK SO ANYONE COULD JUST WALK IN, MOULDY BED SHEETS AND A MASSIVE COCKROCH WELCOMED US!! FOR THE AMOUNT YOU PAY YOUR BETTER OFF STAYING SOME WHERE ELSE. ALSO LOCATION WASNT THAT GOOD EITHER. WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!

Liked: It was near the airport

Disliked: This hostel is beside a very busy dirty road. There is very little around and the neighbourhood surrounding it is rather dangerous. The room was average as was the service.

Liked: The location was very central, right in the middle of everything - one end leads to Osmena Road, the other leads to Ayala mall. If you like walking, everything worth seeing within the city is reachable.

Disliked: I wasn't aware there was a lounge/common area with TV and some books until we were about to leave. Would've been nice to mingle with some folks and ask about places to visit.
