Important Information

If cancelled or modified up to 15 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later and in case of no-show the total price of the reservation will be charged. The total amount of the booking will be charged 14 days before arrival date. " For bookings from Nov. 1, 2013 until Feb. 9, 2014 I would prefer this: If cancelled or modified up to 31 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later and in case of no-show the total price of the reservation will be charged. The total amount of the booking will be charged 30 days before arrival date." It is important that these last conditions are valid for bookings from Nov. 1, 2013 on and NOT that guest can book now for Christmas and then have the 15 days period. How to handle that I can´t provide a liability insurance here in the Philippines as I mentioned below: I will not be able to supply any useable liability insurance. Nice sounding 1 Million Phil. Peso/20000 Euro insurances turn out to be only 100000 Peso/2000 Euro per person/occurence for my main concern, bodily injury. See attached offer, the highest I could find, the lowest was only willing to pay a whole 100 Euro for bodily injury per person/occurence.

Cancellation Policy

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 15 days before arrival (local time). Payments made to HostelBookers are non-refundable.

Private Rooms Help! A private room is a room that is not shared with other people from the property – in other words, you book and pay for all the beds in the room. If you are traveling alone, for example, but want to book a double room, you must pay for two people in order to book the whole room.

About Sunrise Palais Boracay

All Apartments have: Terrace or garden in a beautiful residential tropical surrounding overlooking Boracays eastern 2100 meter long watersport bay in about 150 m distance, Ocean breeze so you need the A/C only on windless days, ocean view and sunrise view, kitchen and bathroom, guest pool access, folding doors (except Superior Apt.) covering the whole front of the apartment which can be fully opened and are build, owned and operated by a German-Filipino couple. A 10 minute walk across the here 650 m wide Island takes you to the busy White Beach with drumming speakers and many sweatting people, best to enjoy in the cooler late afternoon. Located high enough on a slope to be guaranteed Tsunami safe! Money-back guarantee if you die on our premises because of a Tsunami!
All our Apartments have:
Ocean breeze, ocean view and sunrise view, too, THIS IS WHAT ONLY VERY FEW OTHER APARTMENTS ON THE ISLAND CAN OFFER, NEARLY ALL THE OTHERS ARE INLAND WITH NO VIEW AT ALL AND ALSO NO FRESH BREEZE, BUT HOT AND HUMID AIR AND NEED AIRCONDITIONING.

a kitchen with refrigerator and 3-flame (4.Floor: 2 flame) gas stove without a potentially dangerous gas bottle in the room,
Bathroom with hot and cold shower, heated by an outside mounted gas heater and NOT a here usual life-threatening ungrounded electric chinese garbage heater with wiring where YOU will become the ground lead and die if something goes wrong,
We are proud to mention that our toilets are equipped with a seat and even a seat cover! At some other places here it would be a good idea to carry a toilet seat with you.....
Electric outlets that accept European round plugs and slotted US plugs, 220 Volt
automatic emergency LED-ceilinglights
21inch cable TV, but only as long as they last. They all fail because of the salt air.
A bed for two persons with spring mattress and mosquito net (but you will need the net only if there should be no wind at all during the summer months), Poolapartment: bunk bed for 2 persons
A safe deposit box in the room, except in the Poolapartment
A big ceiling fan, Poolapartment: circular ceiling fan
All Apartments except the Poolapartment and 2nd, 3rd and 4th Floor also offer A/C but you will need that only in summer if there should really be no wind at all.
Bamboo blinds that can be rolled down on windy or rainy days on the duplex apartments,
Folding doors (except at the Poolapartment, third and fourth floor apt.) covering the whole front of the apartment can be fully opened WITH THE HELP OF THE OWNER ONLY PLEASE!
Grill spot behind the house in the garden.
Guest pool about 10 by 2 m and 1,4 m deep, THIS IS NOT A NON-SWIMMERS POOL!
Since there is no liability insurance here in the Philippines that pays more than between 100 € (!) to 2000 € on bodily injury you will have to sign a liability damage waiver before checking in. Upon request we will mail you the text.

Accommodation Information

All Apartments are built as crevices free as possible to be free from the otherwise usual Cockroaches here, there is no ceiling covering or palm leaves roofs where these insects hide during the daytime and from where they fall down to your bed at night time for your "enjoyment".... Consequently, there are also no wood eater droppings constantly falling into your food and bed from native ceilings. These are the advantages of concrete buildings here besides being safe during Typhoons.
Under german-philippino management to make sure nearly everything works in this compound! No chaotic, messy people or drinkers please, mess up your own place. No smoking inside the Apartments because of burn spots and stink smell. No smoking inside Apartments to prevent burn stains, smoke stink and keeping you from cremating yourself in and with our beds, leaving us with the disposal costs of your ash. ;)

Location Information

You may buy food here everywhere; there are even two delicacy shops here, one of them seems to sell prepacked foods that is about 10% below the stated weight. The tap water on Boracay has drinking water quality.
Best time to travel here is of course the winter of the northern hemisphere from November to March. From March on the temperatures here rise, the wind that until then quite sure blew away all clouds turns from Northeast to South until diminishing in June (only then you need Fan or Air conditioning in our place) and then after a few back- and forth moves blows from Southeast and brings clouds and also rain and typhoons. This is the local rainy season which of course is incomparable to the European constant-rainy season with immediately cooler temperatures. Here the temperatures stay the same, it never gets below 26° warm even in a storm and after a while the sun is out again. So if you want to make sure you don't have to feel cold during your vacation: come here, no matter what time of the year. See happy people instead of grim looking cold feeling folks! After being here once you will ask yourself why you didn't come sooner, but prevent to stay in Manila because there you will think what am I doing here?! If you stay here during the winter you can finance a great part of your stay by the heating costs and health insurance you saved at home. If you are retired, did you ever consider moving here and leave all the hassle behind? Your pension will last much longer here at these prices and the girls here are much
prettier….
Besides sunbathing, swimming or just doing nothing there are many more activities on Boracay: scuba diving, snorkelling, beach hopping, golf on a 19 hole golf course, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, gym, spa, motor biking, horse riding, beach volleyball and football, bat cave tours, tennis, yoga, wall climbing, internet free in your apartment, kite boarding and windsurfing including instructions right down here on the beach, parasailing, jet ski, bananaboatriding, wakeboarding, waterskiing, sail boating far enough out and of course lots of beautiful girls all around.
