Liked: great place to stay ..great owner..joel and his staff were so helpful to me...will definetely come back.....value for money and very safe and secure....and very quiet at night.....

Disliked: The owner was so rude, and all he could do was have a go at me for not meeting them at the airport, even though I expressly told him on several occasions I did not want this. And he was not interested at all that my bags had been lost at the airport. There are alot better, cheaper and more friendly places to stay. Would not recommend

Liked: So affordable. Totally close enough to the beach. Super clean. Homey like feel. Great host. Transfer from the Airport!. Even cleaned my room and changed out new towels and sheets after 2 days! Even though I had a single private room, was still able to meet other travelers and have a great time. Oh and tons of hammocks!

Liked: For others that moan it's far away from the beach or nightlife, they must be overweight! It's two minutes to the beach, another ten to the bars and clubs. The location offers peace and quiet sleeping, and has a cool cafe zest next door. Helpful owner, friendly staff. Ideal

Liked: Overall, it was a great experience with Trafalgar Cottages. The room was clean for a rock bottom price. It was a bit far from the beach, but it was perfect for people who love serenity. A 5-minute walk to the beach....

Liked: It's a lovely place, you relax on the hammock you, enjoy the food you make in the kitchen. The staff are so nice, help me a lot.

Disliked: A bit of a trek from the good bars and nightlife.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful, the place is beautiful and the rooms are worth the money we're paying them for. I had a change in my bookings as an other friend decided to join the trip, and the owner was really nice and directly helped changed my bookings.

Disliked: It's a bit far from the center of boracay (very near the beach but at station 3), and the toilets don't have flush.

Liked: owner really nice guy and extremely helpfull, enjoyed every minute in this hostel, great locaion to get around, close to the beach and restobars, good place to meet other travellers, highly recomennded!

Liked: It was like living in a rainforest, the garden is lovely. It is secluded but still in amongst shops and station 3 White beach (the better end!). Hot water in thermos flasks every day and you can buy your own tea/coffee. Helpful, friendly staff.

Disliked: Because its a rainforest there are BILLIONS of mosquitos.. but that deters loud drunk idiots sitting on their balconies at night so can be seen as a plus! Cold showers, and the room isn't cleaned every day.. but that really doesn't matter! Not much to dislike here.

Liked: the place feels very cozy and the staff are very friendly. you wont feel the scorch of the sun since this place is surrounded by plants and trees thus the place is cool enough even at 2 in the afternoon.

Disliked: i wish a television would do a little trick especially when youre a lil bored at times and you dont feel going to the beach or somewhere else but heck the value for your money is so worth it

Liked: The Place was great considering the price I payed, the rooms are with a tiny balcony with hammock, surrounded by a nice garden, so the atmosphere was quite good and relaxing. You can use the small kitchen in the courtyard to cook or to make barbecue. The staff is very nice and helpful. The place is near a small market and cheap shops.

Disliked: The only things i can complain could be the cold water from the shower, and some more ants, but the room was surrounded by plants and trees, so I understand...it's nature. A bit of noise due to the air conditionin system of the huge resort next to the cottages.

Liked: It is the best place to be for what you pay, If I'll come back, sure I'll be there again. The staff is awesome and really friendly. You won't find a cheaper place and you get more than what you pay.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Comfy rooms, good location - short walk to the beach, to station 3, although somewhat of a walk up to station 1... Staff were very helpful, they met us at the port despite us being an hour later than anticipated due to delays on buses/boats.

Disliked: Was a 10/15 minute walk to the majority of restaurants/bars, but was definitely made up for by the fact the section of the beach nearest the hostel was normally pretty empty!

Liked: It is very accessible from the main road, thus making it easy for us to go from one station to another on foot or via tricycle. It is also near the E Mall and Original Talipapa. The place is homey and the garden contributes to a relaxing atmosphere.

Disliked: At the moment, there are construction going on around the area.

Liked: this is a worthwhile hostel, our stay was very pleasent and its owner is very kind and helpfull, so I utterly recommed this hostel to everybody and enjoy boracay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Disliked: to be honest? I don't have any complaints about this hostel.
