Liked: The owner and his staff were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very much at home. I especially liked the fact that there was a common garden kitchenette with a grill, and the owner even offered to buy us the food we need for cooking. The garden is beautiful, lots of nice plants and palm trees, and the location is excellent - near the beach, a market, laundry shop and a bakery. All in all, a very good budget location.

Disliked: Maybe the shared rest room facilities could be cleaner.

Liked: They have very nice garden, the people there are very friendly. The room was clean when we arrived. But they seems don't clean the room everyday while we stayed.

Liked: I had a great stay here and even went back for a further 3 nights! The staff were very friendly and were always at hand to help. My stay was excellent value. My room was clean, the bathroom was hygienic and the hotel was cleaned daily.The hotels location is 2 minute walk to the beach through a nice market with all the sovenirs and 5 minute walk from the local market.Would definitely reccommend this to couples and singles looking for a good value stay. Overall I had a brilliant stay and got along with the staff very well.

Liked: The pick up service from the airport was ideal, and the owners warm and friendly. Just what we needed for a short break in Boracay, and well located near to the beach/shops/bars/restaurants. Only complaint was that the double beds were fairly small for two people.

Liked: I liked the room decoration, simple but nice (I stayed in a twin room). No hot water for shower but if you really need it they thermos storing hot water (for bathing, instant noodle...). Friendly and helpful staff. Nice garden!

Liked: Joel and his staff are very helpful and pleasant to stay with. The hostel is very honestly priced and is located only a few minutes away from the beach and the market. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Boracay. Thanks Joel!

Liked: The owner is the nicest man and so helpful. I didn't like the mosquitoes but he offered a net. He was nice and it was definitely cheap and a good value.

Liked: Excellent place excellent price. The owners son meet us at the airport and helped us get to the ferry buy tickets carried our bags was very nice. We had a 4 bed cottage which was lovely soo clean wich is rare! comfey beds excellent location 2 mins from the beach and all the action but quiet at night! The value for mony cannot be beaten on Boaracay this is an excellent place. Try the cafe next door zest lovely food esp breackfast.

Liked: This place is very homey. The owner is very hospitable and really helpful. This is just near the beach... about a 2-min walk and there's a reasonably priced restaurant right beside the cottages. It's got the best of both worlds in a sense that it is near the beach and the main road, too.... so going to the beach and elsewhere is not a problem!I've had my money's worth staying here and I will stay here again.

Liked: Joel, the owner, has certainly done a good job of keeping costs low while maintaining good value. The property was comfy and clean. They also had free pick-up from the airport which is a first in my two year hostelling exp.

Liked: The overall friendliness of the owner and staff were appreciated and valued. The local knowledge was helpful in planning day to day activities. Next time we go to Boracay we will definitely make our arrangements to stay with Trafalgar Cottages again.
