Liked: The bar area was good, good pool table and hammocks. Checking in at 6am was nice when taking a night bus that got into Puno at 5. The manager gave a free round of drinks.

Disliked: Simple breakfast of buns and coffee/tea. We never got towels for the lukewarm showers. Had to ask to use the kitchen and they were very hesitant. A woman came and boiled water for me but when we asked to heat up our takeout from the night before we were rudely told this was not allowed. Shouldn't advertise as having a communal kitchen. When we checked out and turned in the key the woman noticed the key was for a different room but worked on ours. She seemed shocked which didn't make us feel like the rooms were very secure.

Disliked: Our room the first night had a window with very thin white curtains facing the hall... The big, bright bulb there kept our room light until one am... We switched the next day and that one was fine.

Liked: Friendly staff, very clean would definately recommend! Jhan Karlo, Renzo, Yenny and Karla, were great!

Liked: The 8-bed dorm was wonderful and spacious. On the 2nd night we moved to a 6 bed dorm which was more cramped. But overall this is a great hostel - lots of showers with hot water. Loved that they had a separate female bathroom. Eggs and bread at breakfast. Location itself is good, just maybe 200m from the main square - but major downside that it's a super steep hill all the way!

Disliked: The hill you have to climb to get there! Only for fit people, or if you're willing to cab. Still, a wonderful hostel for the price.

Liked: this hostel is very nice with friendly staff,comfy beds lovely rooms and very clean they get a TV Room, pooltable, great bar, they organized everything in puno if you want to spend really good days definitly Highly recommended!

Liked: The hostel is a bit out of the way from the bus station, and a good uphill climb from the Plaza de Armas, but it is still only about a 5 minute walk from the major streets and sites. Very clean, very friendly staff, hot showers were amazing.

Disliked: There wasnt always someone at the front desk to open the door. I had to wait nearly 15 minutes alone late at night to be let in, because the door was locked... not very safe. The hostel was also completely dead the 2 nights I stayed there, when I had been looking to party on the Friday night.

Liked: The point Puno is a great base for exploring Puno and the lake. The staff are lovely and keen to help. really comfy beds, and the staff cleaned every day. Awesome hot showers! Would recommend to anyone.

Liked: showers were amazing (hot water and good pressure etc)... lots of good hang out places (TV with sky channels, bar, pool table etc) lots of cheap tours on offer eg. of the floating islands...

Disliked: a bit far from town (up the hill), and when i was there it was just so quiet! its a small hostel, and nothing happening at the bar...

Liked: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - couldn´t have been any nicer.The showers were also very good - clean and plenty of hot water.

Disliked: Nothing except the walk up the hill to get there.

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff,(they speak both Spanish and English) who were always willing to help out. The showers were great - very clean and with hot water, and the beds comfortable. The bar looks like it could be a really good place to meet fellow travellers, though not many people around when I was there.

Disliked: Though i understand it is probably a good security measure, I didn't really like the wristbands we had to wear to identify us as guests of the hostel

Liked: Great staff,very comfortable place, clean, hot showers, brilliant.

Disliked: Some confusion over price of a tour - were told Sl but charged USD, then in Point Cusco they confirmed it shoud have been Sl. Ah well.

Liked: Nur geeignet für ganz junge Leute.

Disliked: Lage, zu weit vom Zentrum entfernt. Direkt an der Hauptzufahrtsstrasse der Busse. Keine versprochene Heizung vorhanden.

Liked: When you go to the reception, there are two friendly girls, and they are really helpful. The facilities in the hostel are very clean. There are interesting bar and 24-hour internets too. You will like this hostel if you come.

Disliked: I do not have the points that I dislike about the hostel.

Liked: Jose Carlos and Eden were incredibly friendly and instantly made me feel at ease. The hostel facilities are great with excellent bathrooms and spacious rooms. The food is delicious and available when you need it so very helpful are a long bus journey. Jose Carlos and the gang will book eveything you need with ease and its a great place to explore Puno in. Well worth staying in and would highly recommend.
