Liked: The staff were exceptionally good and incredibly helpful depsite the fact that we were there less than 24 hours. Had a lovely homely feel.

Liked: The staff were excellent and helpful. The manager spoke English and did everything to help.Beds were warm, clean and very comfortable, and the noise level wasn´t bad. Only down side were the bathrooms. Smelly and eratic water pressure.

Liked: This is a great place to regroup. The hostel has internet and movies. Alfred is very helpful and gracious. We felt very at home here. And it´s a great value.

Liked: Hostel has everything you need inside - TV , playstation , DVD's , breakfast - helpful owner. It is a good location for everything but it is not in a good area - 2 blocks walk and everything is different. If you dont mind the area then book it !

Liked: Hugely helpful staff, really nice atmosphere. You stay in little apartments within the hostel which all have a TV, DVD player, living area and kitchen.....really nice. If you are in Puno do NOT hesitate to stay here!

Liked: the place was cool, little apartments. good value the owner was persistent in us using his preferred bus company and even a little mocking of our choice not to.

Liked: One of the staff, Santiago was very helpful and friendly. They have free coffee and tea any time, free breakfast of bread and fruit, DVDs and a book exchange.The street was a little noisy but it was a great hostel, great hot water and very home-ly.

Liked: We could not recommend Inka`s Rest more highly if you`re looking for somewhere really homely to chill out for a few days. Big beds, hot showers, loads of comfy communal areas, a fantastic DVD collection and book exchange, free internet, incredibly helpful staff and a brilliant breakfast - what more could you ask for!

Liked: The owner and staff of Inka's rest were INCREDIBLE! They let us in at midnight, helped us plan a trip to the island at 6 am the next morning, were so generous, humorous, patient and helpful. They literally saved our trip to the lake and then helped us when we came back incredibly sunburnt and dehydrated, and with food poisoning of some sort. They are the best!
