Liked: I have been inmany hostels around the world and I have never found a couple sofriendly, helpful, and fun as Alfredo and his wife. The place iscleanand confortable. Alfredo prepares great coffee and his wife prepareshome made mermelade. You have free tea any time you want. They helpyou to choose your tours and even help you to organize your visit toother cities in Peru. They really go the extra mile to help you and makeyou feel at home. Do not forget to visit the "Choza de Oscar"restaurant, they have a great show and wonderful food.

Liked: Really friendly atmosphere - they like to think of themselves as a family operation, and that's definitely the way it feels. They were helpful in booking trips and ready with advice as to how the hell the local bus station works. They throw a pretty damn good New Year's party too.

Liked: the owners of this hostel are the most friendly we encountered in 2 months of travelling. they prepared a delicious christmas meal for us and our whole stay we feld like home.

Liked: By far the best thing about the hostel are the extremely helpful and friendly owners who can't do enough for you and have a good understanding of what travellers needs are. Breakfast was provided at very flexible times, bags stored and advice on getting around and out of town was all good. I would recommend staying on the second floor if possible but the beds were great on both levels. Happy to recoomend Inka's Rest.

Liked: The owners were so friendly and helpful with lovely touches around the hostel, like teas, sweets etc... Anything that needed organising was no problem for the owners who were happy to help with any request. However, the showers were barely warm and there was a terrible odour coming from the bathroom and wash basin where the dishes were cleaned. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Liked: Alfredo and Gilda were amazing! They helped us plan our entire stay in Puno and our visit to Lake Titicaca and even arranged for our transportation to Bolivia. We didn´t have to lift a finger. The beds were comfortable, warm and breakfast was waiting each morning for us when we got up! Best hostel i´ve stayed at in all South America!

Liked: This place was more like a serviced apartment, with a good dose of ´welcome to the family´ thrown in. It´s the little touches that made it special - extra blankets, hot water bottles, a bowl of sweets in the living room and plenty of help and explanations for the non-Spanish speaker. Highly recommended!

Liked: have a tv in the room with lots of chanels and very helpfull staff, one free computer with internet and no curfew. if in a twin room only share a bathroom and lounge/dining room with one other twin room. had tea and hot water in the room. are encouraged to book visits to lake titicaca through them and can book things like buses to Copacobana in Bolivia for you too. seemed like good prices and definitely trustworthy. made things a lot easier and Puno a good place to catch up with things.
