About Inka's Rest
At Inka's Rest we have 10 years being the most awarded hostel in Puno. We have been recognized by Hostelbookers with Best Staff Award 2009, Best Value Award 2009, Best Cleanliness Award 2010, Best Staff Awatd 2011 and by Tripadvisor with Excellence Certificate 2012.
However, Puno has a wild, exuberant side. Throughout the year there are festivals of music and dance which fill the streets with people celebrating. The most popular of these festivals is the feast of the Virgen de la Candelaria in February with the famous Devil dancers.

Tours to the Islands:
Uros Floating Islands is $10.00 per pax. Half Day 3 hours.
Full Day visiting Uros Floating Islands and Taquile Island U.S. $14.00 per pax.

Sillustani Tour price per person $ 9.00.

The best time to arrive is between 11am and 9pm.
At the request of the guests and so as to not disturb them, the internet is available between 6am and midnight. This is a no-smoking hostel.
The office hours are from 6am to 10pm. Between these times guests may book tours, exchange books and borrow DVDs.
Important: Tours booked at Puno bus station are more expensive and not always official.
Our hostel is composed of three apartments with two bedrooms each, a common area, bathroom and small kitchen, although the main building has a fully equipped kitchen for guest each, and a chill-out terrace to watch the sunset.

We can arrange day trips to Peru, train tickets, etc at cheap prices.
Pick up service can be arranged for your comfort and safety.

Puno is 12,350 feet (3827 m) above sea level, dry and cold, very cold at night so we provide warm blankets and hot water bottles.
