The best place to stay in Puno while you are visiting the Lake Titicaca Island's.

The best time to arrive is between 11am and 9pm.
At the request of the guests and so as to not disturb them, the internet is available between 6am and midnight. This is a no-smoking hostel.
The office hours are from 6am to 10pm. Between these times guests may book tours, exchange books and borrow DVDs.

Important: Tours booked at Puno bus station are more expensive and not always official.

Inka's Rest is located in the centre of the city, opposite the church of La Merced, near the Central Market and the main railway station of Puno. Most travellers come to Puno as a means to reach Lake Titicaca and visit the Inca ruins. Today, Puno is the capital of the Highlands region, a commercial border town across Lake Titicaca in Bolivia.

However, Puno has a wild, exuberant side. Throughout the year there are festivals of music and dance which fill the streets with people celebrating. The most popular of these festivals is the feast of the Virgen de la Candelaria in February with the famous Devil dancers.


This is a reference to ticket prices and bus tours.

Accommodation Information

Our hostel is composed of three apartments with two bedrooms each, a common area, bathroom and small kitchen, although the main building has a fully equipped kitchen for guest each, and a chill-out terrace to watch the sunset.
No curfew, we will give you keys to the main entrance.

Location Information

Puno is 12,350 feet (3827 m) above sea level, dry and cold, very cold at night so we provide warm blankets and hot water bottles.
