Liked: It was very quiet when I was there so I had a whole dorm to myself! Very clean and comfy beds. Good location on Plaza de Armas. Views of the mountains from the indoor balconey.

Disliked: Dawn left no negative feedback.

Liked: The proprieter Kathy was always helpful and energetic. She even gave me a tour of the local ruins. This place has character and I would recommend it highly for the price.

Disliked: 2 Cats.....I hate cats

Liked: The hostel is right on the Plaza de Armas - fantastic location.

Disliked: The owner Kathy, was quite blase and distant in her attitude. Also there was no breakfast .. at first Kathy said she'd take 5 soles off the room rate, then she said because I'd booked a dorm breakfast wasn't included. However, in Kathy's defence it was New Year's Day and she was quite hungover! The hostel wasn't very good value for money .. the following day I found a private single / shared bath at another hostel 1 minute's walk away, for the same price I paid for a dorm here.

Liked: Cheap and nice, for one night it is perfect!

Disliked: The hostel is on the main square, not like it is written in the maps of the hostelbookers site. We had problems finding it...

Liked: Very friendly owner and roof terrace

Disliked: Sometimes they wouldn't hear the doorbell so we were left outside for up to 20 minutes at a time... yep!

Liked: This is an average hostel with friendly staff. I liked it.

Disliked: It was very quiet.

Liked: The staff was wonderful and fun to chat with.

Disliked: There was a little "iffy" business with breakfast and the charges that appeared later, but it wasn't a huge deal.

Liked: Good location near the square, but then all thehostels are near the square in this tiny place! The french girl who worked there was nice and helpful.

Disliked: Most of the staff were really unhelpful. We booked a double room which turned out to be a twin - it was really cheap but for a reason, it was absolutely freezing at night with not many blankets on the beds. The TV room is really annoying as people kept walking through. They also had 2 cats - I have an allergy so we decided to leave after 1 night, instead of staying the original 2 nights. Stayed in a much better place just down the road which had wi-fi too.

Disliked: Showers were broken when we arrived! Showers are not very clean.

Liked: Really nice place to stay, super friendly owner, really nicely located on city center, you can walk every where, really relaxed hostel and very good value for money. One of our nicest hostels on our trip in Peru.

Disliked: Toilets god be cleaner and have more paper.

Liked: Friendly owner, nice and clean rooms, big TV room to hang out.Recommendable.

Disliked: Would be much better with a guest kitchen. Bathrooms are quite dark and rather basic but ok.

Liked: A personal, friendly atmosphere. Rooms are clean and nice with a bouquet of flowers in every room. Many other young, individual travellers and backpackers. Comfortable hammocks on the terrace and balconies.

Disliked: The shared bathrooms would need some maintenance (but private bathrooms are in a good condition).

Liked: The atmosphere at Chaska Wasi is a safe and relaxing place for travellers at Scared Valley.

Liked: It was cheap and in a convenient location. Ollantaytambo was a great base point for several awesome day trips around the Sacred Valley.

Disliked: I could not for the life of me figure out how to get the hot water in the shower. My roommate, however, had a steaming hot shower, so I think it was me.

Liked: I loved the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff! Great view of ruins from the hotel itself!

Disliked: If I had to say one bad thing about the place was our room had no hot water for showers BUT the friendly staff told us this before we entered our room and gave us a key to another empty room which had hot water for showers.

Liked: Decent basic room by small terrace. Wonderful views from terrace surrounded by the mountains. Breakfast was basic but ok. Lots of cats!

Disliked: Could be difficult to find if you take the wrong path off of the main Square, but I didn´t have any problems. No wi-fi.

Liked: The surrounding mountains and landscapes are amaizing.

Disliked: The lack of cooperation on behalf of the owner. It was not possible to use the kitchen to cook, the tv set, the fridge, and the matresses were too thin. It wasn't possible to have breakfast either because the owner or assistant wouldn't want to wake up early(dixit).

Liked: Very cute and friendly decor, close to the mountains with a beautiful view, friendly domestic cats in the hostel, love the decorative painting on the walls! And the staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, very quiet.

Disliked: Close to another hostel that doesn't offer an indoor area for its visitors to socialize, but that is not the fault of chaska wasi, which ensures that its visitor have a clean, friendly and comfortable place to visit.
