Liked: The staff was very helpful, especially when helping us to book our flight over the Nazca lines.
Disliked: It lacked some more common space. There is a roof terrace, but its not big and the chairs up there are not so good...

Liked: Excellent value for money. VERY friendly staff. Nice American Breakfast and roof terrace. You can use the hostel facilities the whole day if you have to wait for nightbus.

Liked: Was in a good location, had a lot of tours on offer, the owners are not trying to push tours on you
Disliked: Was not given a key, and the owner was not in when came back one evening. Lucky another couple had a key who came back just after me.

Liked: nice roof top terrace, very friendly owners, thats it. Kitchen is dirty and a mess, the rooms downstairs are dark. I have no idea, why everbody is so crazy about this hostel.

Liked: Nice roof terrace.
Disliked: Very dirty bathroom in private room. Owner tried to knowingly overcharge us. We argued a little but gave in partway as we didn't want to have an argument with his children and wife there. (The issue is partly to do with the hostelbookers site as you can't get the balance quoted in local currency so he both tried to overcharge us and give us a ridiculously bad currency conversion rate) He was money-grabbing in other ways too eg. asking for additional contributions for use of kitchen. He was very friendly but we found him frustrating in that although we wanted to speak Spanish he insisted on talking in (very hard to understand) English and just kept talking endlessly at us when we were in communal areas.

Liked: Fabulous staff -- they´re friendly and knowledgable and helpful and funny -- really great people who will help you with everything during your stay.Great value for money. Very basic, but comfortable and clean. Highly recommended.

Liked: very nice hostel...we would recommend it to anybody. the owner (abdon) was very friendly and gave us valuable tips and it was fun hanging out with him. plus the staff here was also very nice. we really liked it here.flights over the nazca lines as well as sandboarding tours can be booked right here. rooms are very clean and spacious. hot showers available. decent breakfast for 4 soles. very close to plaza des armes (1 block away).

Liked: we liked the sun deck upstairs, but the breakfast was poor given that you had to pay extra for it. also the dutch-peruvian english speaking staff were rarely there, and often the hostel was left to the unhelpful, trying to runa family, couple that lived there.

Liked: Staff spoken little english but were really friendly and always willing to help. It was fun to try and speak to them in our broken spanish. Place was quiet - just what we were looking for....not a party hostel. After day in the desert, it was good to chill out in the hammock on the roof garden.definitely recommend it

Liked: The staff were very helpful, but the accommodation was very basic and did not feel clean. Although the staff did endeavour to clean what they could, they were on to a no winner. The towels and bedding felt unclean and the curtains were hanging off their rails. The terrace is a welcome addition, however, the over bearing and constant noise from nearby hens and cockerels made it difficult to enjoy. Internet use is charged.
