The Reserva Ecologica Chontachaka is in Pucartambo province, Cusco Region, part of the Manu Natural Reserve.

Travelling from Cuzco you will find a public bus service to reach the Reserva.

From Lima to Cuzco is one hour by plane and 15 hours by bus.

It is quite difficult to arrive to the jungle from Cuzco, for this reason, the best way is to meet the staff of the Reserva Ecologica Chontachaka in their central office in Cuzco, where they will inform the visitors about how best to get to the jungle and provide you with important information you need to know before going to the jungle.

In general, the price of a bus from Lima to Cuzco is could be between 70 and 180 Soles (24 – 60 USD) depending of the bus company. By plane the ticket can change depending on the season, but in general between 80 and 200 USD

The price from Cuzco to Chontachaka is 18 Soles (6 USD) and as explained above, you have to get in contact with the Reserva Ecologica Chontachaka to arrange it from their office in Cuzco.
