Liked: The staff are so helpful! they will go out of there way to help you with anything and to solve any problems that you have - whether it be with Peru, Lima or the Hostel. All the staffare really kind and helpful. I was forced to stay in Lima for a while to wait for a companion, and thehostel really felt like a home.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Everything and everyone is chilled out. It is in a good location for transport to the historic center. In a nut shell it is good, good.

Liked: The staff went out of their way to try and help. They asked each day what our plans were and helped us making them a reality, like spending 20 min explaining and planning an itinerary of the quite intricate public transportation system that matched our wishes, aquiring the necessary metropolitana card ect. On a mishap with our laundry where several items was lost, the staff was so sorry and apologetic that they even went out with us to shop for replacements, paying out of the hostels own budget

Disliked: At the time of our stay, the hostel was moving the kitchen from the 1st floor to the 2nd so the facilities was a bit lacking, ie no sink in the kitchen. just for the record, It IS quite a party hostel, with guest playing the guitar loudly a thursday morning at 3 am when we arrived from the airport...

Disliked: Hostel would be perfect once the kitchen is finished! And more plates and cutlery would be nice....

Liked: Fantastic & very helpful staff, great new bathrooms, spacious dorm, okay breakfast, nice common area and an already nice rooftop terrace that they're about to make fabulous. Liked it a lot!

Liked: The staff are exceedingly friendly, the hostel has a very friendly and social air without being a party place. Everything is clean and comfortable, decent breakfast, good value.

Liked: Staff were really helpful. Julio speaks excellent English. He helped with anything you need, advice on approx local taxi costs, which metropolitanos to get when open. Helped advise on bus companies, and helped book tickets for the best and appropriate ones, which was well out of the way of a regular hostel. Also helped try and get tickets for the football game at Allianza Arena which is a little more dodgy than the rest of the city.

Disliked: The bar was shut at the time, which contributed to a lower tempo atmosphere, and so meeting people was restricted to people in your room if you wanted to socialise. If you want a party hostel then this probably isn't the place. Kitchen had no sink, so you had to walk up to the roof to clean any of your dishes or food, then come back down, which was a bit annoying. Bathroom was average, but wasn't always clean.

Liked: Loved this place. Seconds from parque kennedy in Miraflores, super amazing staff, everything is clean and comfortable. Computer and kitchen available for use. Hot hot showers :)

Disliked: Will be even better when the terrace area on the top floor is done being renovated.

Liked: The hostel is in a great the location in Miraflores close to bars shops and the Metro to the city. The staff Sopie, Julio and Christopher were great fun and had heaps of useful advice about the city and shops etc. Thanks for the stay guys it was great!

Disliked: It will be nice once the rooftop kitchen is finished.

Liked: The staff was incredibly nice and very helpful. The Hostel is very near Parque Kennedy in Miraflores as well as several bars and restaurants. They go out of there way to help you enjoy your time with them.

Liked: The hostel is located in a quiet secure location. The bar which is connected to the hostel has special offers for hostel guest which are very cheap. So go there, it's worth it :) The staff was always friendly and they tried to help where they could.

Disliked: The cleaning person missed out the sink... Apart from that the shower was cleaned every day.

Disliked: Didn't seem that safe, lock boxes were broken, the doorperson didn't check that we were staying there when we walked in, i.e. no proof of stay was required to walk in.

Liked: The staff was really really friendly. one of us guys had his birthday in the hostal and they sang a song and bought a cake for him. and we had such a great bbq on the rooftop with the owner of the hostel. We got all the information we needed. i only can strongly recommened that hostal.

Disliked: we got a room without a real window, so it was a bit warm in the night. but that shouldnt keep you away from this hostal.

Liked: The staff are absolutely amazing and will bend over backwards in helping you organise trips, find, and take you to vegetarian restaurants nearby, help you with the language and explain anything you might be unsure about here in Lima or other travels in Peru. They carry your bags up the stairs and treat you like a truly valued customer and individual. Beds are made. They make hospitality an art form. Well done guys and girls.

Disliked: Little bit noisy at night but nothing ear plugs couldnt fix.

Liked: Amazing hostel, the staff are so so friendly and helpful in everyway! the hostel has an amazing location right in the centre of miraflores. The breakfast is great and the kitchen contains everything you could possibly need including a blender for soups or smoothies. I love that they also have a big plasma tv with lots of english tv channels and a HUGE selection of DVDs.

Liked: I really liked the staff and the owners, they were very welcoming and eager to help in any way they could. The rooms were clean and tidy. Also very good value for money.

Disliked: The kitchen was a bit weird because there was no running water in it, but the owners said that this will be changed soon. Everything else was fine!

Liked: Puriwasi was a great hostel! The beds were comfortable, showers were nice, and the staff was very helpful. Great location too, we were close to markets, stores, and plazas.

Disliked: Nothing really, it could have been a little cleaner, but it was nice.

Liked: All the guys and girl working here were super friendly and very accomodating! Ready to help as soon as you ask, very knowledgable about the area! Location is awesome and safe. Good cheap local places to eat on the same street and 50% off the drinks(great cocktails) at the bar below, what else could you ask for! Good value for money, would come back!
