About Casa Ana

Casa Ana is run by Ana and her daughter Priscilla and helped by Hein (Dutch). While respecting privacy we like our guests to feel at home in our place, and in Lima. In an informal atmosphere we try to be of assistance in anything that may come up. Our facilities include free Wi-Fi in all rooms, a roof terrace and a common area. We are located in a pleasant non-touristic neighbourhood, in a nice green street. There are many facilities around Casa Ana, such as the local market, banks, exchange offices, internet cafes, laundry, restaurants, supermarkets, shops, an immigration office and more.

Accommodation Information

There are four rooms, a single room, a room with a double bed, a room with two beds and a room with three to four beds. Our showers have hot water during 24 hours. Bed sheets and towels are provided.

Location Information

Casa Ana,
Jirón Pichincha 415,
Breña,
Lima 5,
Peru.

Casa Ana is at one block from the Hospital del Niño in Avenida Brazil. Avenida Brazil and the Hospital del Niño are well known landmarks in Lima.

To Lima´s historic center it is about 20 minutes walk. There you find the Catedral, the Presidential Palace ( with daily changing of guard), the San Francisco Monastery (catacombs and 16th century library), the interesting Museum of the Banco Central de Reserva, the Parque de la Muralla around excavated remains of the former city wall, the Museum of the Inquisition, and many other interesting sites to visit.
Nearer to Casa Ana, on your way to the Plaza Mayor you pass the Lima Art Museum, the Italian Art Museum and the “Parque de Lima”, also called “Parque de la Exposición”.
On the other side of Casa Ana, in the adjacent district of Pueblo Libre, you find after a short taxi or bus ride the National Museum of Anthropology, Archeology and History, and the Museum Rafael Larco Herrera (with a large collection of ceramics). Not far from these museums is Lima´s Zoo, called “Parque de las Leyendas”.
Next to the National Stadium one finds after a 20 minute walk from Casa Ana (or short bus or taxi ride) the “Circuito Mágico de Aguas” (fountains, music, lighting).
For live music, dancing and food , the well known “peña folklórica” Las Brisas de Titicaca is a few blocks away.
Casa Ana has good bus and taxi connections with other districts, such as Barranco and Miraflores.
