Liked: This hostel is good location with security and wi-fi comfy beds and very clean with hot showers. However they charged us $2 a day for each backpack whilst we went to Iquitos for a 5 day tour. We asked them to arrange a taxi to the airport and got ripped off to the sum of s/.60 normally its half that. We asked for laundry service and expensive pair of trousers went missing with no offer of compensation. We asked if they could call a hostel in Paracus to make a reservation for us and were flatly refused!!! Pay your money and take your chance!

Liked: We stayed in a double room - no air con as described but the staff provided a fan for us which was perfect! Staff didnt speak much English so we found it a little difficult to communicate but we should probably learn some more Spanish! Perfect location if you need to sort Brazilian visa's - the consulate is only a 5min walk. We also loved the supermarket down the road.. really cheap, fantastic salads, meats, breads, super fresh!

Liked: Nice hostel, basic but very clean, safety A++ and a short 5min walk from the centre of town. Friendly staff (even when we checked in at 2am) who don´t speak much english but they make a good effort to help. Only down side was the next to non-existant water pressure which resulted in no water at at at one point during my shower. Also if booking a taxi with the hostel, reconfirm the price with the taxi driver, it is quite often less than what the hostel said to pay.

Liked: The staff were very helpful with every question we had from giving directions to how to use the cooker. Although the showers were shared, they were cleaned regularly and pleasant to use.One complaint was that only one hob on the cooker worked (very slowly) and there didnt seem to be any pressure to fix it anytime soon...

Liked: Excellent breakfast with fresh squeezed juice and Peruvian coffee. Really clean, soap provided in the showers. Low key and comfortable, with friendly staff and cool hangout areas.
