Liked: The owner is extremly friendly and helpful! We stayed in another house around the corner, which was new, clean and really good value for money. However the rooms in the main building are a bit dark with a mouldy smell. So make sure you get one of the two rooms in the other building in Av. Colon!

Liked: Quique, the owner is extremely nice and friendly. He made our stay very welcoming and relaxing. Though the room's atmosphere leaves a little to be desired, it was all and all a nice place to stay. I would definitely recommend it to people looking for a good place to stay.

Liked: Que que the owner is THE nicest man ever. He speaks fantastic english and is so eager to help you in any way he can. My friend had her passport stolen and he showed us where to go and what to do and honestly could not have been any more helpful.The hostel has a lovely surfer theme to it.The rooms are pretty basic but its fantasic to meet people and queque gets everyone involved and there is a lovely laid back atmosphere.You can have breakfast whenever you want for example..no time limit.The hostel is dead near the beach and the mall complex as well as near the main square.Definaltey recommend it here!!

Liked: The best hostel I've stayed at.. hands down. It's clean, cheap, comes with free breakfast and wifi, and it's a small place so it's not full of 18 year old's running around and screaming their heads off - just really chilled guests that want to hangout. My girlfriend was sick when we arrived and QuiQue the manager went above and beyond to try and find a specialist for her. I'll definately be staying here when I come back to Lima..

Liked: Extremely helpful owner Quike, who goes out of his way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Has very good restaurant recommendations and is also very helpful in organising onward travel and does NOT charge for it.

Liked: the location is ideal. minutes away from everything: the sunset, beach, stores, bars, restaurants. the owner was wonderful to us. i felt as though he went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and welcome there. it was just a super place, the type of place i have been looking for all along on this trip- lots of laughs and lighthearted fun. i felt very at home there and safe. i look forward to returning to lima so that i can stay there again. gracias, huevon

Liked: The owner Quique was very funny and easy to get along with. Very helpful for things to do in Lima and the hostel had a nice and relaxed atmosphere for one of the more cheaper prices. Well worth it!

Liked: Arrived to a replacement receptionist as the managers were away so we did not get a good service. very unprofessional, didnt know any prices, didn´t check our booking, couldn´t call us a taxi, didn´t get up for check-out so we just had to leave our keys and no breakfast at 8.30am even though it should start earlier. but big rooms and private bathroom (with bugs)

Liked: the owner is incredibly friendly. we arrived at 6.30am, our room wasn´t ready but he made us feel right at home, found us a bed to sleep in and a shower to use. not the cleanest or newest hostel in the world, but with such a good location and a homely atmosphere, you couldn´t help but recommend the blue house.

Liked: Quique is one of the friendliest, honest, most hospitable guys I´ve had the pleasure of meeting. My only complaint is that from here on in, I don´t think any other hostel will be able to live up to Blue House.

Liked: The location cannot be better. 5 min walk & you can see the great sunset (and a shopping center if you like shopping). But the greatest thing about this hostel is the owner, Quique and the vibe that has at the hostel. As a former backpacker, he has lots of information and goes WAY out of his way to help you out!! Quique is such a great character - tt is difficult to put into words, but once you meet Quique, you know what I mean. I would definately recommend this hostel to any backpacker!
