Heliconia, is an authentic ecologde located in the Yanamono community, 50 miles away from Iquitos City , on the shores of the Amazon River . This Lodge offers accommodation, meals , transfer and excursions per day as packages.

Our Ecolodge surrounded by the finest and exotics collection of Amazonian Heliconias, and close to islands and lagoons full of wildlife , offers you wonderful places for rest and spend time with plenty exciting activities.

Our friendly and environmental construction has modern facilities with high safety standards. The 21 rooms (doubles and triples) with private bathroom and hot water; restaurant, lobby, bar and the hammock room are completely protected with mosquito netting and they all are interconnected by passageways that have palm thatching roofs

Birdwatching, Fishing for fun especially attempting to catch Pirahnas and others, Visits to river communities, Observation of the beautiful water lily flower called Victoria Regia, Observation of the Pink and Grey River dolphins, Boat rides along the many tributaries of the Amazon River, Hikes into the primary jungle in search of certain species of animals, Night searching for alligators, ect.
