Liked: the location, the atmosphere, the very nice and broad room (with also large bathroom), very friendly staff and a very efficient and helpful tourist agency attached to the hostel.

Disliked: maybe a bit loud sometimes at night, but I was given a room in the rear part of the hostel; so it was not so noisy. I still could sleep well.

Disliked: it is a bit run down but that is not a bother. Had to request soap, clean towels and room cleaning but not really a problem since the response was quick.

Liked: Awesome location, 2min stroll from Plaza de Armas. Friendly staff, and very secure. The rooms were HUGE!!

Disliked: Occasionally the room was noisy, being adjacent to Calle Procuradores with drug dealers and people returning from bars. No real communal space or kitchen.

Liked: Rustic and natural apprearance. Fab courtyard with a tree in the center and a humming bird feeding off the trees. A balcony overlooking the courtyard where you could sit and read a book in the safety of the hostel and seconds walk to the centre....just fab highly recommended

Liked: First the bad, no pickup from bus station as promised. Moving on however, my family (myself, wife and two kids) had a lovely stay here. The building is gorgeous, the rooms spacious with very high ceilings, good heat and great bathroom. The staff were VERY accomodating, moving another TV into the room that got more channels, taking good care of our bags during our Machu Picchu trip, organising laundry, allowing the kids to run amok through the establishment and spend hours on the internet. The hostel is right next to the plaza, and hence close to all the action. Thanks guys for a great stay, and many happy memories!

Liked: The Sumac Wasi hostel in Cuzco have a good atmosphere and the person work here is very nice but late in the night is hard to get someone to open the door.

Liked: walking distance to the main square very helpfull staff who spoke good english & they arrange transport to & from airport so no hassle. our room was located above a bar so very noisy until midnight but if you don,t mind pan pipes then its o.k

Liked: It has a nice look to it but it's very formal and impersonal seeming. Close to the plaza de armas but the alleyway is a little creepy at night and several times it took them a long time to come the door when it was after the time they locked it. You also needed them to open it to leave after this point. TV's in room that actually receive quite a few chanels.Was very happy to see the computer had a printer and wasn't super slow.

Liked: The Hostelbookers price is excellent value. The rooms are clean, the showers are awesome, every room has cable TV (bonus!) it couldn't be more central and the breakfast is pretty good, too – rolls with jam, tea, coffee, juice, cereal and yogurt.Highly recommended!
