Liked: Excellent location and tidy for the space. Couldnt beat the proximity to the Plaza, and the nearby nightlife, although reminiscent of Cancun, was nearby. My only criticism being that there was no internet, free or otherwise? Curious, as there were many creature comforts like a TV and spare room heaters. Beautiful property.

Liked: The "good" categories, in fact, should be interpreted as "excellent"! A beautiful colonial palace, a few steps away from Plaza de Armas and for the reasonable price that made those booking at expensive hotels jealous - who would want anything better!? Sumac Wasi is a charming, romantic place, with perfect comfort and a home-like environment. Its manager/owner, Mr. Alfredo is the best example of a caring and excellent host. He took care of us as if were members of his own family! In the midst of a bus strike, he found solutions for us more advantageous than our own original arrangements. We could fully rely on his booking us for tours and solve every possible problems along the way. I had never before experienced this kind of personal attention and professional integrity every moment of our stay. As a first-timer with hostelbookers and facing friends' skepticism, I have now become its most enthusiastic promoter. I would absolutely choose Sumac Wasi again over any other hotels in Cusco and I highly recommend it - and thank you for Mr. and Mrs. Alfredo!

Liked: The hostel was beautiful, very quiet and convenient location. Rooms are spacious and very warm, also the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definetly stay here again.

Liked: Fantastic location as it is close to the plaza de armas but its not really noisy. Internet and skype onsite. Small radiator in the room - seems to be a bit of a luxury for cusco!

Liked: Excellent location right near the main square, restaurants and the action. Simple nice breakfast. Only downside is that room was a bit noisy at night cause of nearby bars. But I would reccomend staying here.
