Liked: The house is beautifully decorated and it's also very close to Plaza de Arma.

Disliked: The kitchen is almost non-exiistent: it's in a corner of the backyard and it has been arranged in a way that it makes difficult to use it. Basically, they push their restaurant in this way.

Liked: Probably one of the best hostels I've been in. Clean, good showers, comfy beds...

Disliked: They are charging the room in usd and give a bad exchange rate to sols... Seems a little backward to me.

Liked: Very comfortable beds indeed...

Disliked: Should be more vegan food on offer- The biggest difference an individual can make, in terms of environmental impact, is to eat a plant-based diet :) Also the hostel tried to charge me more at the ed of my stay than quoted i nmy booking confirmation with hostel bookers- make sure you print out and show to the staff when it comes to settling your bill

Liked: Great value, location, and people. Free computers. Free wifi. Free drink tickets. Breakfast is free, but simple (bread, coffee, tea). Can buy other breakfast items for cheap.

Liked: Great atmosphere. This hostel has several "common areas" to hang out and meet new people. The TV room has incredibly comfortably couches and bean bags, and the fireplace is amazing on chilly evenings. If youre keen for a movie night the staff will set up the projector and they have an awesome selection of movies for you to choose from. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable with big, cozy blankets that keep you warm all night! Free breakfast is pretty basic (bread and jam) , but you can get eggs, yogurt, pancakes, or french toast for only 5 soles)

Disliked: The restaurant food is good, but the dinner menu is lacking in options for vegetarians (the only option is the ecospaghetti).

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff, great central location, nice common areas to hang out in. The breakfast provided is typical, but I tended to pay for the kitchen to make me pancakes and eggs, which were cheap and delicious!

Disliked: The kitchen that is available for travelers to use is extremely small with only minimal kitchen-ware.

Liked: Everything. We loved this place. It has great facilities and very helpful staff. It has a great bar which is located at the back of the hostel, ie away from the rooms. The Internet is very good throughout the hostel. We stayed in the wild rover in cusco one night and were disgusted. The room was horrible and didn't have wifi connection. The staff weren't interested in you and my locker got broken into. Ecopackers felt a lot safer.

Liked: the place is a big property with many facilities. It is a place where you can meet a bunch of people but I wouldn't describe it as a party hostel as most people do stay in and drink for the night. The thing I liked most about the place is the beds. they are normal beds like back home which was wonderful. The place is pretty clean for the amount of people that come in and out of the place. The lockers are made of wood so I would definitively recommend taking advantage of the valuables locker in the reception area. I would and have already recommended this hostel to other travelers going to cusco.

Liked: Great location, beautiful building and layout, great staff, very clean and all the facilities you need. The movie room and open fire put the cherry on the cake.

Disliked: Hostel bookers advertises the female dorm with en suite, this isnt correct and should be updated.

Liked: Awesome hostel. It is in a beautiful building. I stayed in a private room that was good value with a great bathroom. Nice common space and courtyard and it seems like they organize many activities. Breakfast was decent and we took advantage of the free check in drink.

Disliked: Karen left no negative feedback.

Liked: The hostel is a good place to stay in Cusco. Having also stayed at Pariwana, I would recommend Ecopackers over Pariwana (even though I prefer smaller hostels). Staff settled my dispute satisfactorily regarding the cost of the additional night I stayed that was not booked through HostelBookers. Let's hope they give me my $2 USD change when I pick up my bag in a few hours.

Disliked: The character rating is low because I don't think hostels of this size have much character. The one big negative was that the staff tried to charge me S/23 for the night that was not booked through HostelBookers. This is a negative because there is no sign posted anywhere that indicated rates are higher than offered online nor was I told that the rate would be different when I asked to stay one more night. This only came to light when I was getting a final check so that I knew how much cash to pull from the ATM. Even with their bad exchange rate of 2.8, the cost of the room should be S/18.20. So an almost S/5 difference can add up to a lot after a few days.

Liked: This is the best Hostel I've stayed in in South America - It's set up around 2 fab courtyards, with a good & reasonably priced bar, (slightly wonkey) pool table, common room with TV & DVD palyer, free internet access and basic breakfast included with other options available for very little money. The staff were very helpful and friendly, we went away to do the inca trail and returned 5 days later to be greeted by name (no mean feat in a hostel of this size!) and they couldn't do enough to help us. We stayed in a private room, which had cable TV, a double and a single bed, super hot and powerful shower and even a bath!! Really can't recommend this place enough!!

Disliked: The only negative thing I can think of to say is that it was occasionally a little noisy at night, but this had generally quietened down by about 11pm, and really didn't impact on our stay.
