Liked: Marlon was super helpful and friendly, the tea and common area were great to hang out in, and the beds were some of the most comfortable I've ever had in a hostel.

Disliked: The hot water in our room didn't work.

Liked: Marlon's House is Clean Lodging with Superb Staff for Reasonable Price”This hostel is really a small inn. The four rooms we used were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were pretty good, but were smaller than what we would prefer and were in need of minor repair. One of the most important is the GREAT HOT SHOWER EVERYDAY!!!The staff at Marlon's was very prompt and supportive, and were able to provide accurate information about Cusco. They also arranged transportation and coordinated pickup for the inka jungle trail the one's we book direct at this property for good price and excellent service included the famous mountain wayna picchu ...Very well organized!!!Thank you so much to the wholle staff at Marlon's for the nice and family hospitaly.Highly Recommended!!!!!http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g294314-d501296-r289667769-Amaru_Hostal-Cusco_Cusco_Region.html#

Disliked: Awesome Place.

Liked: Great Place!!!I spent nearly a month in Peru in summer 2015, staying at five different commercial lodgings. The Marlon's House Arequipa,Puno and Cusco was one of the best of the lot. It is well set up to handle lots of tourists; there was always someone on duty to assist with arrangements. Our room was warmed by central heat, a rarity in Peru. Keep in mind if you visit Cusco during the high season, it will be winter in Peru and the city is at 11,000 feet. The shower water stayed hot most of the time, also a rarity in Peru. The breakfasts were tasty and served efficiently. The location is great, only a short walk you shoudnt miss to go (past the 12 sided Inca stone) to the Plaza. A good restaurant restaurant is AMALUR in the Main Plaza. In cases you want to organize your trip to Machu Picchu they also can help you to book everything for you like train tickects, entrance to Machu Picchu for a good deal.Thank you so much Marlon's House for your hospitality and nice time i got in Perú.

Disliked: Nothing absolutely.

Liked: Best shower I have had in South America so far! Had lots of water pressure and the water was more than warm enough. Wifi is above average as well. Breakfast was nice (cereal, fruit, bread and jam, tea) and through the kitchen is tiny, it has everything you need should you decide to cook a meal. The beds were comfortable as well.

Disliked: Only one shower and one toilet for all the dorms to share. Also the housekeeping was a bit slack - there were three empty beds from guests that had checkled out prior to me arriving, and the beds sat untouched without the sheets being changed for the three days I stayed there. That being said, everything else appeared clean.
