Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. We got up late first morning so thought we had missed breakfast, but the smiley girl who tended to serve breakfast had kept some aside and waited for us to get up - great service.

Disliked: The plumbing was a bit strange, generaly there was plenty of hot water but not always for those very early starts.

Liked: Maria was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was lovely, great views and really snug on the cold cusco nights. All round a really homely hostel where I would definately stay again.

Liked: great hostel, owner was extremely helpful. rooms are spacious with small ensuites. at the time of our stay there was a problem with the hotwater but the owner did everything she could to get it sorted. very quite, one of the best sleeps i´ve had in south america!! san blas is a great spot , not far from the plaza but far enough away not to be pestered by people shouting "paintings" and "massages Miss"! close to many restuarants and Jacks cafe.

Liked: rooms are decent and clean, staff are accommodating but you are charged 5sol to use the kitchen which has very minimal equipment and no garbage bin, hot water was also intermittent - seems like the owners were keeping the gas for their own personal use. It's more expensive to book online too

Liked: Owner is very nice, rooms are large, bathrooms are clean. Unfortunately had to keep asking for hot water to be turned on and for soap & toilet paper.

Liked: Maria super friendly and helpful and always keen to emphasise that it's a family environment. Not a place to party but definitely a great place to relax and feel at home. Area v quiet, so lots of sleep possible - brilliant!!
