Liked: It´s not great if you want to meet other travellers but for my friend and I we like to meet other travellers during the day and at night just relax in our hostel so it was perfect. Family atmosphere, clean and one day we weren´t feeling great they brought tea to our room. Loved it here and will be back!

Liked: The best place to stay in Cuzco. Very good location, friendly and very helpful staff, very clean rooms, great hot 24 h. shower, nice fornitures and wondeful breakfast!! In this place you fell like at home, and if you need to organize your trip to Macchu Picchu the place can recommande you a very good travel agency with great service! we planned to stay only 3 nights but we decided to stay for 1 week and our tour to Macchu was unforgettable!! Very good and honest people and you can leave your backpack in their store when you are out for tour and for free! When you will come back in your room afterwards you will find good chocolate on your pillow as a welcome back at..home!!! :)

Liked: very centrally located in a place where the altitude makes getting anywhere VERY difficult! The staff couldn't have been more helpful, and the place felt safe and secure. I was particularly pleased with the laundry service (my travelling companions had been wash-less for weeks...!) the staff refunded the few Soles that we had overpaid when they realised that we had been overcharged - wonderfully honest people!

Disliked: can't think of anything negative to say - was a great stay thanks to everyone for making my trip fantastic!

Liked: We had a quiet room and they were honest when we wanted to extend our stay that rooms in one wing could be noisy. Very helpful staff free book exchange.

Liked: very convenient location when you cant breathe because of altitude sickness! Staff could not have been more helpful, am happy to be returning now for a few more days.

Disliked: the entrance to the complex is a bit intimidating for a lone traveller, (it is a shared space with the Frankenstein hostel) but everyone is very good at making sure that you are not hanging about on your own.

Liked: By far the best Bed & Breakfast during our South American Tour. The B&B is run by an extremely nice family who goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. They bring you coca tea to your room on arrival and serve an outstanding breakfast. We also enjoyed their Spaghetti Night which was delicious. Our room was large, clean, with comfortable beds and free wifi. Great location right in the Historic District. A must stay if you are in Cusco!

Liked: Extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Quiet hostel. Close to the main plaza and many locations. Free internet and wifi. Let us sleep in a vacant room until checkin.

Disliked: Not a great place to meet people. Sometimes a little noisy in the evening (club or party somewhere nearby).

Liked: I loved everything and enjoyed every minute here! They make you feel like you're the only guest in the hostel and the breakfast is awesome. The rooms are huge, cable tv (which really works), cleaner than my own. The best hostel i stayed in South America. If you're stopping by in Cusco, spend the night here!!

Liked: We enjoyed staying here. Very helpful staff and easy going. Made some changes to our booking on the spot without any problems. Had our backpacks securely stored for the night we went over to Machu Picchu and had them taken straight to our room for when we got back. If you wanna have a value for money night at Cuszo, come here.

Disliked: For hanging out and meeting other travellers it is probably not the best place to stay.

Liked: The staff was extraordinary helpful and friendly.Thez save our luggage during trekking and also arriving in the night was never a problem.They help wherever we need it.

Liked: One of the cleanest hostels ive ever stayed at ! the straff was extreamly helpfull and attentive, they offer you tea when you arrive and offer a great breakfast with eggs and home made orange juice etc…2 minute walk from the main square ( although you will not want to stay at the main square its 2 busy !) and the bedrooms are very clean and very very big ! clean bathrooms and clean towels, the rooms are cleaned daily as well so you will always have a fresh room ! great laudry service as well and free internet and wi-fi, all in all a great place to call a home away from home ! we used this hostel as a steping stone for our travels all around the south of peru, and they even offered to store our stuff so we would not have to bring it all around for free !

Liked: If room on street front can be very noisy until early hours of morning. Also nightclub nearby is very noisy until early hours. Rooms are lovely and large with cable TV in each. Breakfast is eggs, bread and jam and juice. Lovely helpful staff with good english. Shower could have been hotter. Overall great location and would stay there again.

Liked: What we liked: The location of the property as it is only a block away from main plaza. Moreover, staff was extremely helpful and they cheerful.What we disliked: However, my main complain is that we had to wait for 15 minutes for water to be warm in shower. And even after that it wasn't hot enough to tackle the cold climate of cusco especially during early mornings. Moreover, the cheap toilet seats in the bathroom got too cold for any body contact.Summary:After coming to know that there are plethora of other options in cusco for same price and character with 24 hour hot water with less than 5 minutes of wait, I am not sure if I will recommend Monte horeb as first choice to my fellow travelers.
