Overview
Manu learning centre is home to a variety of rainforest types including lowland Andean, pre-montane, bamboo and high terrace forests. This geographical diversity creates habitats for a huge diversity of flora and fauna.

Accommodation Information
The MLC provides comfortable, airy accommodation with top level facilities and ample space for relaxing, meditating and exploring the Amazon as well as other project needs.
The center boasts a solar powered internet connection, environmentally sound septic system and gravity fed water pumps in order to keep within the station’s aims of minimizing its impact on the environment and reducing its carbon footprint.
Beds are set within two-story pods which are open to the fresh breeze at night to keep you cool. All beds have mosquito nets as standard (even the double beds).
Location Information
The Manu Learning Centre is located within Fundo Mascoitania, a 600hec reserve, encompassed within the cultural zone of the Manu Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the largest protected area in Peru.
We have a huge amount of jungle trails in close proximity to the centre as well as fantastic bird and mammal observation opportunities. The center works with local communities and guests have the opportunity to participate or visit these projects within local communities and the rainforest. There are also adventurous expeditions running every month throughout the year, get in touch if you want to join up.
