Liked: Great location, very cool and eclectic building. Beds were nice and warm, although a space heater was provided it wasn't necessary. Staff was friendly. They provided free pickup from the airport and the continental breakfast was quite tasty.

Disliked: Hot water was inconsistant both nights so we never got a good shower. The woman who organized the purchasing of our tour tickets, Cecilia, was haphazard with her organization and even bought our tickets for Machu Picchu for the wrong day, almost keeping us from getting in. I'd suggest using a different travel agency to book your tours yourself.

Liked: Location is excellent. Breakfast was a buffet so was great that you could take what you wanted but also there was a good selection; cereal, bread, yogurt, tea, juice, etc... Also we were given freshly made coca tea on arrival delivered to our room on check-in. Wifi good. Shower good. They use a safe and secure taxi service, when they booked a taxi for us to the bus station, the lady at reception came out to the taxi with us and told the driver the location and price. All the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful.

Disliked: Avoid using the recommended tour agent in this hostel. We found her very disorganised and lacked in communicating vital details of tours like the fact that the free city tour we got as part of our package was not actually entirely free. It did not include entrance to at least two of the places visited on the tour. Always ask exactly what is included!

Liked: The bathroom was unclean when we arrived but was cleaned when asked. The price of our room was not honoured and the pre-arranged taxi to the airport for our flight did not arrive, leaving we and other hostel stayers to flag down our own at the last minute. Early morning attendant was asleep behind the desk preferring to sleep while we all waited anxiously for our transport and tours.

Liked: Very nice, clean, quiet hostel within walking distance of the Plaza and basically all main tourist attractions in Cuzco. Downside, not very helpful staff that only seemed to speak a bit of English and the hostel was completely dead at night on a weekend so not really a place to meet people.

Liked: maria said she would be picking us up from the airport and no one showed, we then got burnt by the taxi driver.... maria then hung up on me when i called her, laundry service is expensive and breakfast is ok....other wise good

Liked: Nice place to relax before the Inca Trail. Close to main plaze and Jacks Restaurant. Only thing was you did not really meet anyone. However sometimes that is nice. Especially when getting used to the Altitude...

Liked: Great location on San Blas, close to the main Plaza and a vast range of bars, restaurnats, shops etc. Hostel was very clean and spacious. The staff brought tea and coffee to your room for a very small cost.

Liked: Lovely hostal in a perfect location. In San Blas and close to the centre (not too much climbing). Rooms are perfect, good beds, clean showers, tv, heater...The roof terrace is perfect for a relaxed afternoon in the sun and when it gets cold at night you can sit at the fireplace. Only thing that could be better is the kitchen, not the best place for cooking. But with all the cheap restaurants of Cusco around the corner, that is not a big issue.
