The staff was really friendly and our belongings were in a good safe during the 5-day hike. The people we met there were the best during the whole trip, no parties there though. Few minus points were the dogs barking during night and coldness (September). Needed to use my sleeping bag with the blankets. Would definitely recommend this hostel. The views over the city were fabulous! And climbing the stairs to the hostel is good practise for the hike/Machu Picchu. ;)

Our room was on the 2nd floor which was an excellent treat, it has a stellar view of all of Cusco and the surrounding mountains. We only stayed 1 night, but at that point we were dying for a shower and a comfy room and this place provided it. The staff was friendly, we were able to leave our bags when we went to Machu Picchu and they gave us coca tea right when we arrived to combat the elevation. Recommended!

The very friendly staff and the wonderful view. The shower was also the most hot and powerful shower i have come across in the whole of Peru!

hostel is a nice location, but up lots of steps!
The rooms inside the hostel can be noisy as next to the communal area (noise from guests and staff...)

the staff were really friendly and would do anything for you. the hostel was in a great location and the pickup from the airport was fantastic. i would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Very good vibe from staff which has a roll on effect to the guests.
Feels like a short term home which your happy to return to. Peaceful although it´s easy to make friends. Staff give good advice on what to do while in town. In general, it´s a good hostel.
